San Francisco 49ers versus New York Giants
Sunday Night Football Fantasy Cash League Picks 10-11-2015
The New York Giants will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Fantasy football draft GM’s can tune to NBC TV on October 11th at 8:30PM Eastern Time to track the results of their NFL roster picks.
This San Francisco 49ers team is a much different club than the one that defeated the Giants 16-10 on the road last year. There has been a head coaching change as well as heavy turnover on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. The 49ers drop to 1-3 after they lose 17-3 to the Green Bay Packers at home last week. San Francisco has been held to seven or fewer points in their past two games. The offense is 31st in yards per game (289), 32nd and last in passing yardage (158 per game) and 32nd and last in the league in scoring (12 per game). Over on defense the 49ers sit 29th and fourth last in the league by allowing 27.5 points per game.
The Giants sit at 2-2 and is on a two game win streak with a home win to Washington and a road victory at Buffalo last week. In their 24-10 victory against the Bills it was a good performance by the New York defense by limiting the Buffalo run game to just 55 yards on 24 carries. They were also aided to victory by 17 Bills penalties for 135 yards. The Giants are the number one run defense in the NFL by allowing 69 yards per game on the ground. The offensive numbers have not been trending in the top half of the league but the Giants rank 9th best in scoring offense by producing 25.5 points per game.

New York Giants QB:
The 12 year veteran has hit on 63% of his throws for 976 yards with seven touchdowns and only one pick. He has had issues with interceptions the past several years and in 2015 he has avoided the multi-pick game. In the win at Buffalo Manning completed 20 of 35 throws for 212 yards with three touchdowns and one pick.

New York Giants versus Buffalo Bills One Day League Fantasy Football Preview 9-29-2015
NFL Fantasy Draft News 9-29-2015
An interesting week four contest will pit the Buffalo Bills facing the New York Giants. NFL fantasy draft GM’s can tune to FOX TV at 1PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their roster picks.
The New York Giants got their first win of the year last week on a Thursday night to Washington to run their record to 1-2. They put up a season high 32 points on the Redskins defense and allowed 21 points. At issue for the Giants defensively has been their pass defense as they give up 335 yards per game ranking 32nd and last in the NFL. Part of the reason for their poor pass defense is the inability for the Giants to create a pass rush.
Buffalo was able to bounce back after a week two 40-32 home defeat to New England. They went on the road for the first time this season and crushed the Miami Dolphins 41-14. The Bills have put a lot of points on this young season as the score an average of 33 points a game good for third best in the NFL. Like the Giants the Bills have had trouble defending the pass ranking 31st and second to last by giving up 326 yards per game.
New York Giants QB:
The veteran quarterback is hitting on 65% of his throws for 764 yards with four touchdowns and so far no picks this season. Manning passed for 279 yards and two touchdowns in the victory against Washington. Good news for Manning is he may get back Victor Cruz this week.
New York Giants RB:
The veteran back leads the Giants in carries with 33 for 96 yards and a touchdown. Jennings is running for just 2.9 yards a carry.
The second year back has 26 carries for 86 yards for a disappointing 3.3 yards per run attempt. In the Washington game Williams had 14 rushing attempts and gained just 29 yards.
Vereen is very active in the passing game. He has 12 catches on the year for 122 yards. He has gotten 15 rushing attempts for 56 yards.
New York Giants WR:
Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham Jr. leads the Giants with 19 catches for 269 yards with two touchdowns. He is averaging 14.2 yards per catch on the year. He had seven catches for 79 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins on Thursday.
Many were critical about Randle’s play in the first two games of the year. He had a good game on Thursday night against Washington with seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Buffalo Bills QB:
The fifth year quarterback finally got his shot at starting in the NFL. He has played well by completing 74% of his passes for 714 yards with seven touchdowns and three picks. In the Miami game Taylor hit on 21 of 29 passes for 277 yards with three touchdowns.
Buffalo Bills RB:
The rookie running back has 24 rushing attempts for 186 yards and three touchdowns. He had a big game on Sunday against Miami with 110 rushing yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.
McCoy has 43 carries for 146 yards on the year and is averaging a disappointing 3.4 yards per rush average with no touchdowns.
Buffalo Bills WR:
He leads the Bills with 16 catches for 192 yards with a touchdown. He has three catches this season for greater than 20 yards.
The third year wide out has caught nine balls for 125 yards and a touchdown. He had a big game in week two against New England with three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Breaking Daily Fantasy NFL Football News 9-28-2015
Ben Roethlisberger Out 4-6 Weeks
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for up to six weeks with a sprained MCL and bone bruise. Fortunately the MRI taken on Roethlisberger did not show any damage to the ACL which would have sidelined Big Ben for the rest of the season. The backup is veteran Michael Vick
The Steelers quarterback is a very tough player to replace on fantasy rosters. Big Ben put up some career numbers in the 2014 campaign. Last year he completed 67% of his throws for 4952 yards with 32 touchdowns and nine picks. In his three starts he was completing 75% of his passes for 912 yards with four touchdowns and two picks.
Vick played in ten games for the New York Jets last year. He completed just 52% of his throws for 604 yards with three touchdowns and two picks. Michael Vick in relief to Roethlisberger on Sunday completed 5 of 6 throws for just 38 yards. Vick has not been an accurate passer in recent seasons. Prior to his time with the Jets, Vick was under center for the Philadelphia Eagles where he struggled big time with turnovers. Because of his knack for the mistake the Steelers may lean on their run game. Running back Le’Veon may be worth a look next week on rosters.
Victor Cruz Announces His Return to Lineup in Week 4
The New York Giants wide receiver has not played in 2015 as he tries and recovers from a calf injury. In 2014 he missed most of the season with a knee injury. In his career he has 24 touchdown receptions and averages 15 yards per catch.
Odell Beckham Jr
The Giants second year wide out has 19 receptions for 269 yards and two touchdowns in his three games. Beckham Jr. has touchdown catches in two straight games.
Randle has been expected to step up with Cruz out. After two bad games to start the year Randle contributed in the win against Washington last week with seven catches for 116 yards with a touchdown. He averaged 16 ½ yards per reception last week.
The former New England Patriot dual purpose back was acquired during the offseason. Vereen throughout his career has been very active in the passing game and could take away targets from Cruz. On the year Vereen has 12 receptions for 122 yards.
