Mississippi Rebels versus Alabama Crimson Tide
College Football Fantasy Picks 9-19-2015
Two SEC conference heavyweights meet as the Alabama Crimson Tide will host the Mississippi Rebels. College football draft GMs can tune to ESPN on Saturday September 19th at 9:15PM Eastern Time to track the results of their roster picks.
Alabama will be out for some revenge in this one as it was the Mississippi Rebels posting the 23-17 victory on their home field. The Rebels threw the ball effectively in the win for 251 yards. But that was behind a senior quarterback who has left the program. Ole Miss was down 17-10 entering the final period when they answered with 13 fourth quarter points and held the Crimson Tide offense scoreless.
Ole Miss has a record of 2-0 on the year. They have victories against Tennessee Martin and Fresno St as they scored over 70 points in each game. In the win against Fresno St the Rebels outgained the Bulldogs by 291 yards.
Alabama is 2-0 as well. They have a tough test in week one facing Wisconsin on a neutral field and came away with a 35-17 victory. Last week at home to Middle Tennessee St it was a 37-10 home win. In the win against the Badgers the Crimson Tide outgained the Badgers by 234 yards with 238 yards coming from their run game. Alabama stuffed the Wisconsin run game to just 40 yards for the game and an anemic 1.9 yards a carry.

Wisconsin Badgers versus Alabama Crimson Tide College Football Best Fantasy Picks 9-5-2015
The first Saturday of the 2015 college football season has an attractive contest as the Wisconsin Badgers will meet the Alabama Crimson Tide. Fantasy GMs can tune to ABC on Saturday night September 5th at 8PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their roster picks.
The Alabama Crimson Tide finished at 12-2 and was defeated by eventual National Champion Ohio St in the playoff semifinal. This will be an inexperienced offense for Alabama as they drop 8 starters from that side of the ball in 2015. An impact wide receiver in Amari Cooper’s production must be replaced. Cooper caught 124 balls for over 1700 yards and 16 touchdowns. That is a ton of offense from one player. On the defensive side of the football the Crimson Tide drops just 4 starters from 2014. Head coach Nick Saban has not named a starting quarterback and probably will do so at game time. Many believe it will be Jake Coker.
Wisconsin Badgers were an 11-3 team in 2014. They suffered a humiliating 59-0 defeat to Ohio St in the Big Ten championship game. After that stinging defeat head coach Gary Anderson took the Oregon St job so Pittsburgh Panthers head coach Paul Chryst was hired. The Badgers bounced back by beating Auburn in the Outback Bowl 34-31. The Badgers were a bruising running team as the club ran for nearly 7 yards a carry in 2014. Their stud running back Melvin Gordon has left to the NFL. Gordon produced nearly 2600 yards on the ground with 29 touchdowns.
Alabama Crimson Tide QB: Jake Coker, Alec Morris, Cooper Batemen
Jake Coker: The only Crimson Tide quarterback in camp that has seen time in games. In 2014 Coker hit on 64% of his throws for 403 yards with four touchdowns and no picks.
Alabama Crimson Tide RB: Derrick Henry, Kenyan Drake, Damion Harris
Derrick Henry: Led the Crimson Tide on the ground with 990 yards on 172 carries which averaged out to nearly 6 yards per carry. Henry had 11 touchdowns rushing in 2014. Henry had small contributions in the passing game with five catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 26 yards per reception.
Kenyan Drake: The running back saw limited work in 2014. He rushed for 112 yards on 22 carries for 5.1 yards per rush average. Drake had a 29 yard touchdown run and finished with four rushing touchdowns a year ago. Kenyan Drake had an 87 yard touchdown reception. He also had five catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the passing game.
Damion Harris: A highly touted freshman who got strong looks from the coaches in practice.
Alabama Crimson Tide WR: DeAndrew White
DeAndrew White: He had about a third of the receptions than Amari Cooper had in 2014. White caught 40 passes for 504 yards with four touchdowns. DeAndrew White had a 58 yard touchdown reception and finished in 2014 with 12.6 yards per catch average.
Wisconsin Badgers QB: Joel Stave
Joel Stave: The incoming senior starter has had a maligned career with the Badgers. He was highly criticized by outgoing coach Gary Anderson who publicly expressed his disappointment in Stave’s play. Anderson felt Stave missed many big play opportunities in his time with the program. Last year Stave hit on 53% of his throws for 1350 yards with nine touchdowns and ten interceptions.
Wisconsin Badgers RB: Corey Clement, Taiwan Deal, Jordan Stevenson.
Corey Clement: Melvin Gordon got all the publicity as deserved in 2014. Running back Corey Clement produced very well in the Badgers backfield last year with 949 yards rushing on 147 carries with nine touchdowns. Clement broke for a 72 yard touchdown run last year and averaged 6.5 yards per carry on the ground.
The program has been high on incoming freshman contributors in the running back position with Taiwan Deal and Jordan Stevenson
Wisconsin Badgers WR: Alex Erickson
Alex Erickson: The wide out was the Badgers leading receiver by far in 2014. Erickson caught 55 balls for 772 yards and three touchdowns. His longest passing play went for 70 yards. Erickson averaged 14 yards per reception a season ago. There was not much rushing stats for Erickson with just three carries for one yard.
