NBA Primetime Fantasy preview

The Spurs come into this game having dropped only 1 game in their last 14 and most of all carrying a 43 home game winning streak. This game will be more than fascinating and an important factor is that the Warriors last regular season win in San Antonio dates back to February 14th 1997.

The Spurs are 20-3 since their blowout loss to the Warriors and with their playoff berth already safe and secured, Gregg Popovich is trying to rest some of his players to ensure everyone is ready for the postseason. This is definitely their roughest stretch for any teams performing at this level. The Spurs, the league’s best defense will try to stop the best offensive unit in the NBA and push their home record.

Golden State Warriors have been rising and shining the past 18 months. They come into this game having won 7 straight games as well as 14 of their last 15. This game will be by far the toughest test of their season despite their 30 point blowout of San Antonio back in January. For only the fourth time this season, they’re seen as an underdog here, as they’ve lost 32 straight games in San Antonio. Yes, 32 but this time, the Splash Brothers dynamic duo will be in full force as they hit 16 3-pointers last night and combined for 70 points in their win against the Mavericks in Dallas.

Statistically speaking, this will be the best regular-season matchup of all time in NBA history with a combination between opponents of 119 wins and only 16 losses.

The Warriors are coming back from a tough game this weekend at home against the Phoenix Suns. If it wasn’t for Stephen Curry’s 15 pts in the last quarter, their home game winning streak would’ve stopped at 47. The league MVP drained 15 of his game high 35 pts in the final minutes of the contest, despite entering the final quarter with a 9 point deficit. His “Splash brother” Klay Thompson added 20 pts, 6 boards, 3 assists and a steal . Their big man Draymond Green had a solid game as well adding 19 pts, 4 boards and 6 assists, 2 steals and a block. The real standout during this game was Mareese Speights who nearly posted a double double in 18 minutes of play with 25 pts, 9 boards, 2 steals and a block. The Warriors are 30-0 at home and are huge favorites to make it 31-0, having won the past 2 games against the Pelicans this year. They have not lost since their upset lost in L.A to the Lakers last Sunday.

Despite their near perfect season, they haven’t clinched the Western Conference standing just 3.5 games ahead of the solid and experienced San Antonio Spurs.

New Orleans is in a complete struggle having only won one game out of their last 8. They’re unfortunately terrible on the road, having only won 7 games and lost 26. They will only be counting on their big man Anthony Davis to outperform everyone and capitalize on the Warriors’ rare mistakes. The Pelicans are in deep trouble, as their playoff contentions are fading going into this game trailing 8th seed Dallas Mavericks by 8.5 games with 17 games left.

The Nets are coming back from a tough stretch on the road, having lost 5 of their last 6. What’s really alarming is that the losses came against the some of the worst teams in the league. This game is ending a 9 game stretch where Brooklyn was on the road, recording a 3-6 record. It will be the 6th time they will face off against their old head coach Jason Kidd. Since Kidd’s trade in the summer of 2014, they’ve won only one game against him. The Nets have lost this year already twice to Milwaukee. They will need their offense to show some light since it’s really what’s been killing them, ranking 29th in the NBA in terms of scoring.

The Bucks come into this game hoping the NBA gods will allow them to make a serious run for a playoff berth. They’re on a 2 game winning streak and hoping to pull their 4th win in a row against the Nets. They need a lucky leapfrog of four teams for the 8th spot. They’re only however 6 points away with 16 games left in the season. Greg Monroe has been playing very well since his insertion lately in the starting lineup. They have a lot of potential in the future with excellent young players full of a talent and hard workers like Jabari Parker, Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The thing they will need to work on if they plan to make a serious run at a playoff bid is their road form. The Bucks have won only 8 games out of 24 away from home this campaign.

Atlanta Hawks vs Los Angeles Lakers

NBA Fantasy Basketball Preview

Kobe ’s Los Angeles Lakers will be awaiting the Atlanta Hawks tonight at the Staples Center and hope to avoid slip up into another major losing streak. FanPicks has this NBA Fantasy Basketball preview for this game. Come enjoy some DFS news and predictions at www.fanpicks.com

NBA Fantasy Basketball preview

Los Angeles just got out of a difficult 8 game losing streak prior to their latest game at the hands of the Nuggets 117-107. The strange thing about this Lakers team is that their individual talents and potential have absolutely no correlation with their NBA record this year. Injuries have been a huge blown for their organization and will be potentially without Kobe Bryant, Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson tonight. They’re the worst shooting team in the league and unfortunately haven’t improved at all defensively, allowing 116.4 pts per game their last 8. The positive note for the Lakers is that D’Angelo Russell’s development as rookie as sped up with Bryant’s injury and he’s been averaging 26.8 pts the past 4 games.

The Hawks are coming back from a tough loss against the Golden State Warriors, almost ending their record home game winning streak. They’ve been playing some good basketball lately but have lost half of their last 10 games within 10 pts. Their lack in offensive key decision making and inability to close their opponents towards the end of the game has been their main issue. They’ve been pretty much counting on their defense to win their games, as they’re ranked 2nd in the NBA. With key conference wins against the Bulls, Hornets and Pacers the past month, they will most likely continue their great form into this game. Stats however haven’t been on the Hawks’ side against the Lakers as they’ve won only 1 of their last 9 games in LA and haven’t won back to back road games against the Lakers since 2002.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Golden State Warriors NBA Fantasy Preview

Defending champion and history making Golden State Warriors will be hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder less than a week after their nail biting win in Overtime. Fanpicks has your NBA Fantasy preview of this battle.

NBA Fantasy preview

This has been by far one of the best matchup this year in the NBA. The big question right now for the Warriors is Stephen Curry’s eligibility for tonight while the Thunder will be trying to seek some revenge for their overtime loss.

The Golden State Warriors will come into this game hoping to not only to sweep their season series against the Thunder, but also potentially tying the NBA home game winning streak currently held by the Chicago Bulls so far at 44 games. Steph Curry, the reigning MVP and NBA co-player of the month of February is still questionable for tonight but his presence will most likely boost their chances.

Surprisingly, Oklahoma City has been playing poorly lately, having only won 2 games in their last 7. OKC’s dynamic duo of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will need to step up their game to avoid another loss and poor team performance. Their latest defeat came at hands of the Clippers where OKC blew a 20 pts lead at half and was completely outscored in the 2nd half. They will be most likely feeling the fatigue from last night’s game in LA but may get some help if league MVP Stephen Curry doesn’t dress for the Warriors due to an injury.

Things will heat up tonight in the Big Apple as the New York Knicks will be hosting the Miami Heat Sunday evening. Come play our NBA ‪‎Fantasy Basketball contest and YOU could win BIG at FanPicks.
Fantasy Basketball Miami heat vs New york Knicks

New York is on a terrible slump lately, having struggled both offensively and defensively. For some reason, they’ve won only 3 games out of the last 14. Even though they’ve won back to back games, the opponents were very weak. The Knicks will have a handful this game against Miami’s defense unit and their new offensive addition.

Miami has been playing very well lately despite dropping their last 2 games against the Celtics and the Warriors. Unfortunately for them, their leading scorer, Chris Bosh is under serious pressure from team doctors to sit down for the rest of the season. Dwayne Wade and the offensve has been getting unexpected great help from Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic. Whiteside played 4 straight games with an average of 19.5 pts and 17.3 rebounds while Dragic stepped up as well averaging 19.8 pts, 7 assists and 5.4 boards the last games. The real addition to their squad and danger for the Eastern Conference is the arrival of 7 time all star Joe Johnson. It will in interesting and essential addition for them
