Projected Lineup

daily fantasy basketball

The Lakers are on a 4 game losing skid coming into this game but are playing much better basketball lately. The last games were all decided in the final seconds and against teams all currently in playoffs. The Lakers are playing very competitive basketball compare to early in the season, exactly what the fans are wanting in Kobe Bryant’s farewell season. Bryant unfortunately dislocated his finger against the San Antonio Spurs in the Lakers’ most recent loss. He will still be expected to dress for this game and hope to continue his good performance, averaging 25 pts, 6 boards and 3 assists over the last 7 games.

The Bulls are currently in a rough spot especially when it comes down to injuries. They’re currently playing now without three big starters: Joakim Noah, Nikola Mirotic and recently Jimmy Butler, all looking to be out for some significant time. The Bulls before their more recent wins against the Raptors were on a 5 game losing streak. Derrick Rose has been stepping his game up averaging 20.8 pts, 5.7 assists and 5.6 boards the last 9 games. The Bulls have been getting great help as well from Doug McDermott, who recently dropped a career high 30 pts against the Raptors.

Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs Fantasy Basketball News – 02-06-16

The San Antonio Spurs (42-8) will be hosting their struggling Western Conference old rivals at the AT&T Center, the Los Angeles Lakers (11-41). FanPicks has this game on tap for tonight’s DFS action. Come play Fantasy Basketball at fanpicks.com.

Projected Lineup

The Lakers after losing 9 straight games bounced back recently with a two game winning streak, however against weaker opponents. Kobe Bryant has been playing incredibly well, especially the past 3 games around 30 pts a game with 8 boards. Kobe is really looking like an All-Star making everyone in L.A excited. The Lakers are unfortunately still ranked in the bottom 4 in the NBA when it comes to pts allowed per game and pts scored.
The Spurs come into this game winning their past 3 matchups by an average of 13 pts difference. Other than their matchup against defending champions, Golden State Warriors, the Spurs have shown no signs of weaknesses. Ranking amongst the top 5 in the NBA for pts scored, allowed, bench pts and assists in the league. San Antonio is obviously a big favourite in this matchup.

Starting Lineup

The Lakers come into this game in the best stretch of their season and things are finally looking up in la-la land. They have won four of their last eight games and playing much better defense. In fact, they have allowed 91 points or less in four of those games, which is a borderline miracle considering where they were at a few weeks ago. The reason for the recent success is Lou Williams, who is playing his best basketball in the yellow and purple. If the Lakers want to hang around here, they’re going to need another career performance from Sweet Lou once again.

The Warriors have been the best team in the NBA this season, but they are coming off just their third loss of the year on Wednesday. They lost to the Denver Nuggets, who have been giving them fits all season. Golden State had to play that game without Draymond Green and that alone shows how important he is to this team. Steph Curry was ridiculous once again in that game though, as he scored 20 fourth quarter points to nearly pull off a huge comeback win. That loss will make the Warriors angry here and it’s scary to imagine what they’ll do to this terrible Lakers team on Thursday. In fact, they come into this matchup as a projected 15-point favorite.

Fantasy Basketball The Warriors are still winning games at will, but aren’t playing as dominantly as they once were. They have now had four-straight close games, despite losing just one of them. In that stretch the defense has been terrible, as they have allowed an average of nearly 110 points per game in that span. Steph Curry has been in and out of the lineup, but he was able to start in the last game in a win over the Charlotte Hornets. This looks like a good game for them to get back to their blowout form that they had prior to this “slide”, as they should have no problem dropping 120-plus against this porous defense.

The Lakers are arguably one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they come into this game on a three-game winning streak. That’s a borderline miracle for this club and all good things must come to an end. This has all the workings of a huge blowout, as they host the best offense in the NBA. The one silver lining is that this 26th ranked defense has given up only 80 points per game over their last two games and they’ll need to show up like that again here. The Lakers offense ranks 28th as well and it would be hard to imagine them staying in this game unless they exceed their 97-point per game average. The Warriors come into this game as a projected 15-point favorite, which is one of the largest spreads for a road team all season.
