Bowling Green Falcons versus Northern Illinois Huskies College Football Real Money Fantasy Picks 12-4-2015

The 2015 MAC Championship Game is a rematch from 2014 as the Northern Illinois Huskies will be facing the Bowling Green Falcons. College football draft GM’s can tune to ESPN2 TV on Friday December 4th at 8PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their fantasy roster picks.

 

Northern Illinois was able to top Bowling Green in the 2014 MAC championship game by the 51-17 score. Bowling Green had a poor performance as they turned the football over four times in defeat. The Huskies this season has a mark of 8-4 and enters this game off a 26-21 home defeat to the Ohio Bobcats at the time left them out of this championship game. Northern Illinois backs in as Toledo suffered a loss last Saturday. The Huskies starting quarterback Drew Hare is out for this one after a lower bodily injury in early November. With a freshman under center the team may look to run the football a lot more. Northern Illinois is 27th from college football in rushing offense as they run for 213 yards per game. The Huskies had a six game win streak going until their loss to the Bobcats. In the non-conference the team was very competitive in an early season road game at Ohio St where they fell 20-13.

 

The Bowling Green Falcons are 9-3 on the season. They have won eight of their past nine games with their lone loss coming two weeks ago to Toledo at home by the score of 44-28. They are a tremendous offensive team as they rank third in total offense as they gain 566 yards per game. The Falcons push across 44.2 points per contest ranking fourth in the league. They throw the football very well for 387 yards per game. Over on defense the team ranks 90th in total defense by allowing opponents to gain 422 yards. Team throws for an average of 255 yards a contest which is 101st in the nation.

The senior quarterback has performed very well in 2015. Johnson is hitting on 69% of his passes for 4465 yards with 41 touchdowns and 6 picks. He threw for two touchdowns and 236 yards last week in their win at Ball St. Johnson has passed for multiple touchdowns in seven straight games. He has thrown for three touchdowns or greater in eight of his twelve games.

Travis Greene

 

The Falcons have got good production on the ground. Travis Greene has rushed for 1036 yards on his 183 carries on the year with 12 touchdowns. He is rushing for 5.7 yards per attempt season to date. Greene had 97 yards rushing and two touchdowns last week in the win at Ball St on the road. The senior running back has eight rushing touchdowns over his past four games.

Lewis is having an outstanding season for Bowling Green as he has caught 76 passes for 1401 yards with 14 touchdowns. He is averaging 18.4 yards catch on the year. The sophomore has multiple touchdown receptions in five games on the season.

Ryan Graham

 

The Huskies were forced to go with their freshman backup quarterback as Drew Hare has been lost for the season. Graham had completed 59% of his throws for 653 yards with six touchdowns and three picks. He has not eclipsed 190 yards passing this season. Last week in the loss to Ohio Graham completed 64% of his throws for only 142 yards with a touchdown.

 

Northern Illinois Huskies RB:

Joel Bouagnon

 

The junior running back has been a workhorse for the Huskies. He has 261 carries for 1213 yards with 18 touchdowns. He is rushing for 4.6 yards a carry. Bouagnon has rushed for a touchdown in 10 of his 12 games on the year.

Kenny Golladay

 

Golladay has been targeted heavily by the Huskies this year. He leads Northern Illinois by a long way with 70 catches for 1107 yards with ten touchdowns. The junior wide out is averaging 15.8 yards per catch on the season.

Ohio Bobcats versus Northern Illinois Huskies College Football Real Money Fantasy Picks 11-24-2015

 

The MAC conference will be showcased as the Northern Illinois Huskies will host the Ohio Bobcats. Fantasy college football draft GM’s can tune to ESPNU on Tuesday November 24th at 7:30PM Eastern Time to track the results of their DFS roster picks.

 

Northern Illinois enters play with a record of 8-3. They have plenty to play for on Tuesday. The team sits in a tie in the MAC conference west division with the Toledo Rockets for first place. Since Northern Illinois defeated Toledo earlier this season the Huskies own the tiebreaker so with a win on Tuesday they will advance to the MAC conference championship game the next week to face Bowling Green Falcons. Northern Illinois has won six straight games after a 27-19 home victory last week to Western Michigan. Huskies had their rushing game going strong in the win as they rushed for 289 yards and 6.7 yards per carry average. On the season Northern Illinois is 35th in the nation in total offense as they gain 451 yards per game. They do score nearly 35 points per game good for 24th best from college football. Huskies sit in the upper half of most categories on the defensive side of the football.

 

Ohio Bobcats enter with a 7-4 record on the year. They cannot catch Bowling Green in the MAC conference east division as they reside in second place two games behind with one left to be played. There are no guarantees that seven win MAC schools get into bowl games so they will be motivated to earn a win here to keep their season going beyond Tuesday. After a three game losing streak the Bobcats have won two straight. Last week they defeated Ball St at home by the score of 48-31. They rolled up 607 yards in the victory with 332 coming from their ground game that netted nearly 6 yards a carry. Ohio during their recent three game slide, they gave up 49, 41 and 62 points in those defeats to Western Michigan, Buffalo along with Bowling Green. Ohio is 78th in the nation in scoring offense as they average 27.5 points per game. On defense the Bobcats also reside in many categories in the upper half of college football.

The junior quarterback is completing 57.1% of his throws for 697 yards with six touchdowns and a pick. In the win against Ball St Sprague had a good game passing for 275 yards with three touchdowns and no picks as he completed 68% of his passes.

Daz’mond Patterson

 

The carries are shared in the Ohio backfield. Patterson has been the most efficient of the group with 102 rushes for 497 yards with nine touchdowns. He runs for 4.9 yards a carry on the campaign. Last week it was Patterson with a rushing touchdown with just four carries for 44 yards. The senior back has a rushing touchdown in six of his past seven games.

The junior wide out leads Ohio with 59 receptions for 723 yards with seven touchdowns. He averages 12.3 yards per catch. He had seven catches for 89 yards and a touchdown last week in the victory at home to Ball St.

The freshman has been forced into action due to injury. He has completed 57.8% of his throws for 511 yards with five touchdowns and three picks. Last week in the win against Western Michigan Graham completed 47.8% of his throws for 158 yards with two touchdowns and a pick.

Bouagnon has been a workhorse in the Northern Illinois backfield with 345 carries for 1176 yards with 18 touchdowns. He has had a rushing touchdown in eight straight games.

The Huskies junior wide out has been the most targeted. He has 64 catches for 1035 yards with eight touchdowns. Last week in the home win to Western Michigan Golladay caught four passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. He has a touchdown reception in four straight games.

Western Michigan Broncos versus Northern Illinois Huskies College Football League Fantasy Picks 11-18-2015

It will be MAC action from college football as the Northern Illinois Huskies will host the Western Michigan Broncos. Fantasy college football GM’s can tune to ESPN2 on Wednesday November 18th at 8PM Eastern Time to track the scoring results of their DFS roster one day league picks.

Western Michigan is bowl eligible with a record of 6-4. But the MAC conference does not always send their six win teams into bowl games. They finish up with difficult games having to play at Northern Illinois and Toledo to close out their regular season. They have a five game winning streak snapped last week in a 41-27 home defeat to Bowling Green. The good news for Western Michigan is they have total control of their destiny for a MAC conference west title as they are in a three way tie with Toledo and Northern Illinois at 5-1. The Broncos have been an excellent offensive team as they rank 23rd in both total offense and scoring as they average 485 yards and 37 points per game.

The Northern Illinois Huskies are 7-3 and controls their destiny for a MAC conference west title with the Ohio Bobcats on deck following this game with Western Michigan. Huskies scored a big conference win two weeks ago as they defeated Toledo 32-27. Last week the Huskies went on the road in a difficult venue at Buffalo and came away with the 41-30 road victory against a Bulls team with a good senior quarterback in Joe Licata. Northern Illinois is a very good offensive team. They average 451 yards and 36 points per game on the year. They are well balanced as they throw for 231 and pass for 219 yards per game. In the non-conference the team played at Ohio St and were very competitive losing just 20-13. They are on a five game win streak averaging 32 or greater points in each game.

Western Michigan Broncos QB:

Zach Terrell

The Broncos junior quarterback is hitting on 68.5% of his passes for 2651 yards with 23 touchdowns and seven picks. Last week in the loss to Bowling Green, Terrell hit on 60% of his throws for 282 yards with no touchdowns and a pick. He did have three touchdown passes two weeks ago at home to Ball State and has completed three or more touchdown throws in four of his past six games. Terrell has rushed for three touchdowns on the year.

Western Michigan Broncos RB:

Jamauri Bogan

Bogan has rushed 764 yards on the season on his 121 carries with 11 touchdowns. He is rushing for 6.3 yards per game on the campaign. The sophomore running back had 118 yards rushing and two touchdowns against Bowling Green. Jamauri Bogan has rushed for two touchdowns or greater in four straight games including a four rushing touchdown performance at Eastern Michigan on October 29th.

Western Michigan Broncos WR:

Daniel Braverman

The junior wide out for Western Michigan leads the team with 90 receptions for 1062 yards with 11 touchdowns. He is averaging 11.8 yards per receptions on the campaign. He has not had a touchdown reception in three straight games after going through a set of three games with two touchdown grabs or greater.

Northern Illinois Huskies QB:

The freshman quarterback is completing 63.4% of his throws for 353 yards with three touchdowns and two picks. In the win at Buffalo last week Graham hit on 62.5% of his passes for 190 yards with two touchdowns and a pick. He had 132 passing yards and touchdown in relief of injured starter Hare at Toledo on November 3rd.

Bouagnon has been a workhorse for Northern Illinois with 224 carries for 1106 yards with 17 touchdowns. At Buffalo last week the junior running back ran for 156 yards on 28 carries with two touchdowns.

The junior wide out has caught 60 passes on the year for 942 yards with seven touchdowns. Golladay is averaging 15.7 yards per catch on the campaign.

Northern Illinois Huskies versus Buffalo Bulls College Football Fantasy Picks 11-11-2015

Two teams from the MAC conference will meet on Wednesday night. The Buffalo Bulls will host the Northern Illinois Huskies. DFS General Managers can tune in to ESPNU on November 11th at 8PM Eastern Time to track the result of their fantasy football roster pick.

 

After defeating Kent State 18-17 on the road last week, the Bulls will try to win their 4th game in a row. They have been solid team defensively all season, allowing 24.1 points per game. Their offense has been trailing a bit though. They have collected 374.6 total yard per games, and 232.3 of it came from the passing game. They currently have a record of 5 wins & 4 losses.

 

The Huskies already have a 4 game winning streak going right now, and they had to contend with a more difficult MAC eastern division. Their offense has been remarquable and their defense are holding itself up to complete this 6-3 record team. They have acquired a total of 443.2 yards per game and 36.2 points per game.

At 6’4’, it’s hard to see Golladay slip through the cracks on the football field. He leads the Huskies receiving core with 801 yards and 5 TD’s. He’s averaging 14.8 yards per game. Golladay had his best game in a while last week against Toledo, collecting 128 yards and a touchdown.

Licata has a 63.7 completion rate this year and a 6.6 passing yard per attempts this season. It’s a decline from last year’s numbers. He still came up with 2 touchdowns and a 190 passing yards while being intercepted once, last week against Kent State.

Johnson leads the Bulls with 8 TD’s. He carries the football for 4.6 yards per game. The 6 foot running back also received for 7.7 yards per game.

Taylor saw his stats slide in the past three games. Last week, he ran for 64 yards. The college senior possesses an average of 4.5 rushing yards per game this season.
