Thursday Night Football on December 17th will feature the St Louis Rams at home to battle the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. NFL fantasy draft GM’s can tune to NFL Network at 8:25PM Eastern Time to track the scoring results of their DFS one day league picks.
Tampa Bay took a serious hit to their playoff chances after the team dropped a 24-17 home decision to the New Orleans Saints. They have been held to under 20 points in four of their past six games. The Buccaneers are 11th in total offense and defense this year as they have shown improvement on both sides of the line of scrimmage. On the injury front the team will be without Vincent Jackson as he is suffering a knee injury. The Bucs have ran the football extremely well as they sit fourth in the NFL at 141 yards on the ground per game.
The St Louis Rams are a 5-8 football team and are coming off a 21-14 home victory to Detroit which broke a four game losing streak. It has been a struggle for St Louis on offense as the team is moving the football for just 297 yards and scoring only 16 points per contest. They rank 31st and second to last in the NFL in both areas. The Rams have a good defense but has struggled in recent games against good passing teams like the Cardinals, Bengals and Bears. Their past three wins have come against losing teams in the Browns, 49ers and Lions. Prior to putting up 21 points on the Lions last week the Rams had been held to total of 36 points over their past four games all resulting in losses. In those four games their point total did not go over 13 points.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB:
The rookie quarterback for the Buccaneers is showing signs that he may stick in the NFL as a starting quarterback. Winston is completing 58.4% of his throws for 3059 yards with 18 touchdowns and 11 picks. He has a touchdown completion in four straight games including five touchdown passes back in Week 11 at Philadelphia He has a touchdown completion in every road game this year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB:
After a slow start to the season Martin has kicked it into gear for Tampa Bay. He has rushed for 1214 yards in 2015 with five touchdowns. He posts a career high 5.1 yards per catch on the season. Doug Martin has a rushing touchdown in two straight games. In his past two road games he had 97 rushing yards at the Colts and 235 yards at the Eagles. He rushed for 6.9 yards a carry at Indianapolis and 8.7 yards per attempt at Philadelphia.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR:

St Louis Rams RB:
One of the few bright spots for the Rams in 2015 has been the play of their rookie running back Todd Gurley. He is coming off a nice performance last week in the win against Detroit where he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. That amounted to 8.8 yards per attempt. The concern heading into Thursday night is that the rookie running back has a knee injury and has been listed as probable for this quick turnaround since their win on Sunday.
St Louis Rams WR:
Britt has been banged up with a shoulder injury but is expected to play against Tampa Bay He leads the team with 28 catches for 480 yards with a touchdown and a very good 17.1 yards per catch average.

The Cardinals enter play with a record of 3-0 and has been impressive on both ends of the field. They have piled up over 40 points in their past two games with a road win at Chicago and last week to San Francisco. Some are pointing to a weak schedule for the Cardinals for the reasons for their 3-0 record and very good lines in the stat sheets. Arizona is the top scoring team in the NFL as they push across 42 points a game. They gain 391 yards which is fifth best in the league. Over on defense Arizona is fifth in yards allowed (299) and sit third in points allowed (16.3).
