Paul George puts 2014 behind him.

Indiana’s forward Paul George found his U.S. National teammates in preparation to the 2016 Rio Olympics without any apprehension, he assured Tuesday. He is two year’s removed from a serious injury that took him out prior to the 2014 FIBA World Cup. He fell awkwardly on his foot while fouling James Harding during a scrimmage at practice in Las Vegas. The team ended up winning the tournament without him. Despite all of that, he’s ready to put it all behind him and give it is all for the Gold. George will finally get the chance to play for his nation, something he is most proud of.

Team USA is currently preparing for Rio in Las Vegas. For George, coming back to train where he got hurt isn’t a problem. He knows that injuries can happen anywhere, anytime to anyone. The injury caused him to miss almost all of the 2014-15 NBA season. He since found his stride scoring a career-best 23.1 points per regular season game. Under his drive, the Pacers made it to the 2016 playoffs. The got bumped early though losing in the first round against the Toronto Raptors.

Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski will lead his third Olympic squad. Under his tutelage, team USA has yet to lose a game since the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since that time the teams hold a record of 34-0, which includes two Olympics games and two FIBA world cup.

Team USA will be represented once again by an elite squad of NBA players despite some bowing out due to the unsafe nature of Brazil.  They are still favorite to land the coveted gold medal. The Golden State Warriors will have three representative at the games, with shooting guard Klay Thompson, power forward Draymond Green and newly acquired small forward Kevin Durant. The team will also rely on guards Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, forwards Paul George, Harrison Barnes, and Carmelo Anthony, and centers DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan.

Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors: Game 2

NBA Playoffs Fantasy Basketball

The Rockets can be extremely frustrated at times and the first game was a prime example why. They basically dug themselves in a 27 pts deficit by half which was clearly impossible to climb. They shot for only 36% in that loss and committed a ridiculous 24 turnovers. Their only good news is that Steph Curry had to leave the game because of an ankle injury. If the NBA MVP misses game 2, the Rockets may be able to build some momentum and keep it competitive but even at that, they will need to take much better care of the ball and shoot the lights out from 3 pt range to even consider an upset win.

Golden State actually didn’t even play their best basketball in game 1 but somehow hammered the Rockets by 26 pts. That’s just how good they are and can dominate you in an off night. The big questions and elephant in the room is their star, Stephen Curry’s ankle situation. If this ankle becomes a serious injury like it did in the past, the Warriors may be in serious trouble for the next rounds. With that being said, they are still large favorites to win it all and t would even be surprising if the Rockets pull off a game away from Golden State in this series. They’re a double digit favorite in this one and most likely, in every game this series…. if Steph is healthy.

Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies

Steve Kerr’s Golden State Warriors are still on pursuit of making history as they visit the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night, trying to seize this once in a lifetime chance to set the record of 73 wins in a season. NBA Fantasy Preview

The Grizzlies just put an end to a 6 game losing streak earlier this week. Unfortunately for them, they went right back to their losing ways last night in their road loss to the Dallas Mavericks, 103-93. They were led by Tony Allen who finished on a 25 pts, 7 boards and 3 steals performance. Big man Zach Randolph added 13 pts with 6 rebounds shooting only 6 of 20 from the field however. Matt Barnes and Jordan Farmer both finished with 11 pts apiece. The Grizzlies should really be careful as they may lose their 5th place in the Western Conference to the Portland Trail Blazers. Even if this game is a tough one, they have to win the last 2 to secure their position. This should be a high scoring game with the Warriors as double digit favorites.

The Warriors continue their quest for 73 wins, despite going 2-2 in their last four match-ups, and spent Thursday night handling the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 112-101. Having lost only two games at Oracle Arena all season, the team was led in scoring by Stephen Curry, who had 27 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, going 11 of 19 from the field and 3 of 7 from three-point range. Harrison Barnes recorded 21 points and 8 boards, shooting 3 of 7 from beyond the arc, while Draymond Green finished the night with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, forcing 4 turnovers along the way. Green has started in all but one game for Golden State this season, 13.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.5 assists. The Warriors will see out their season as the number one rated offense in the NBA, dropping an average of 115.2 points on opponents. If the team is going to break the Bulls’ 1995-96 wins record, they will have to get past the Spurs in San Antonio on Sunday night, who are undefeated at home.

Fantasy NBA Basketball Lineup

San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors

Gregg Popovich’s hot San Antonio Spurs will be heading to Oakland tonight where they will face their arch Western Conference rivals, Golden State warriors. If the Warriors want to beat the Bulls 72 win season, they will need to win their last 4 games in a row starting tonight. This Fantasy NBA basketball lineup is brought you by FanPicks.com. Fantasy NBA Basketball Lineup

So this is it…. the march to 73 wins really starts here for the Warriors as they’re going into the questionably their toughest stretch of the season. A lot of people marked this game on their calendar as the day when the Warriors would lose their first home game of the season. Well, a lot of people were wrong. Ironically, not sure if it’s the pressure but Golden State has lost 2 of their last 3 home games. Many people predicted them blowing out the 72 wins record since no one expected losses against the Boston Celtics and furthermore, a struggling Minnesota Timberwolves squad. It’s now that they’re finally looking like humans. Unfortunately for them, this is the worst time of the year to be slipping in some kind of slump. With the playoffs right around the corner, all the squads are building up the blueprints on how to beat the Warriors. They will most likely come out flying this game but the issue is down the stretch. Will they survive the 4th quarter and tenacity of the San Antonio Spurs as they did back in January when they technically blew them out at home or they will struggle in the last 4 minutes of the game like they did against the T-Wolves. Regardless, this matchup will be exciting to watch.

The Spurs are on another level lately and come into this game having won 4 straight games. On top of that, if they actually beat the Warriors twice in their next 5 games remaining, they have a crack at the top seed in the Western Conference. A lot of speculation from experts believing that Gregg Popovich doesn’t care about beating records and getting the number one seed. It’s quite possible that he rests his top players like he has lately on the road. It would be a huge disappointment to NBA fans as well as Fantasy Basketball fans, so definitely avoid picking out the top Spurs players on your lineup but Ginobili should be hot tonight with a lot of responsibility.  So far this year, these teams have split the first 2 games when facing one another but with the home team winning each game.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Game Preview

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors

Steve Kerr’s record breaking Golden State Warriors are still on pace to reach Win 73 when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night in Oakland at Oracle Arena. This NBA fantasy basketball game preview is brought you by FanPicks.com. Come PLAY in our Daily Fantasy Basketball contests at FanPicks and get a free chance to win $1 Million dollars!

NBA Fantasy Basketball Game Preview

The Timberwolves head into this matchup having lost 3 straight games and 4 of their last 5 games. It’s really not about this season for Minnesota though as they’re preparing for their future. Without a doubt, the future of their squad is extremely bright and that’s the least to say. They have definitely the best young core in the league led by Karl-Anthony Towns dominating the post, Andrew Wiggins annihilating the wings and with Ricky Rubio’s distribution to the offense , this team has some serious weapons and an enormous potential for the next years in the NBA.

The Warriors are heading into this matchup coming back from their 1st lost at home last Friday in over a year. They will definitely want to rebound from that game since they’re only a 4-1 stretch from getting the 73 win record mark. They rolled over the Trail Blazers on Sunday bouncing back from their loss and are in a serious momentum. Golden State are an easy 17-point favorite and will most likely go on a streak to end the season unless the Spurs decided otherwise. Basketball fans around the world will be awaiting the next 2 weeks to see if the Warriors can mark history.

Fantasy Basketball

Washington broke a short-lived two-game losing skid on Sunday with a 101-88 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. John Wall led the charge with 22 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and a steal, with his seven turnovers serving as the lone blemish on an otherwise stellar performance. Marcin Gortat followed suit with his own double-double, posting 16 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and two blocks. Otto Porter, Jr. was not far behind with 14 points, six rebounds and a steal. Nene Hilario tallied 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. The newly-acquired J.J. Hickson paced the bench with 14 points, five rebounds and two steals. It was an excellent evening from the field overall from the Wizards, who were able to garner a 54.2 percent success rate on their 72 shots. The Wizards remain in the fourth spot of the Eastern Conference’s Southeast Division, and are currently trailing the eighth-seeded Detroit Pistons by 2.5 games. They’ve came victorious in six of their last eight games, including three straight away from home.

Golden State prevailed over the Philadelphia 76ers in their latest contest, 117-105. A game that initially was suppose to be a blowout for the Warriors, considering the diametrically opposite records of both teams, didn’t turned out that way. Coach Kerr received another excellent effort from Klay Thompson, who collected 40 points, two rebounds and a block. It was notably the second straight game in which he’s hit the 40-point mark. Stephen Curry was calmer in comparison, contributing 20 points, eight assists, three rebounds and four steals. Draymond Green pitched in with one of his regular triple-doubles, gathering 13 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, a steal and three blocks. Harrison Barnes put up 10 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal, while Mareese Speights paced the reserves with 17 points, seven boards and three assists. The Warriors are still the best in the Western Conference. They’ve now rattled off four straight wins since being dominated by the Spurs a little over two weeks ago, 87-79, and are still perfect 35-0 at home this season.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Projections

A you’ve been noticed, we’ve been keeping track of the Golden State Warriors’ game recently because of their historic run and on pace to become soon, the best team in NBA’s regular season history. The Warriors are coming into this game after a win over the 76ers Sunday night, 117-105. Everyone expected a blowout considering the complete opposite records and talents of the 2 teams this year. However, it was an outstanding game by Klay Thompson, who tallied 40 pts, 2 boards and a block was quite impressive, especially because it was the 2nd consecutive game he’s had 40 pts or more. His splash brother, Stephen Curry was a little quieter with 20 pts, 8 assists, 3 boards and 4 steals. Draymond Green pitched in with his usual triple-double performance, putting down 13 points, 11 boards, 11 assists, a steal and 3 blocks.

Golden State still leads the Western Conference with a 4.5-game margin lead over the 2nd seeded San Antonio Spurs. They’re on another game winning streak since being dominated by the Spurs with 4 W the past week. They’re 35-0 this season and frankly will most likely be 36-0 by tomorrow night without a doubt.

The Wizards broke a brief 2 game losing streak with a win last night  over the Lakers, 101-88. John Wall led the charge with 22 pts, 13 assists, 5 boards and a steal, but 7 turnovers surprisingly. Marcin Gortat had a double-double performance with 16 pts, 10 boards, a steal and 2 blocks. It was a decent night for the Wizards as they will hope to keep their composure and shoot the way they did last night, in their 54.2% success rate from the field.

They’re currently in 4th in the Eastern Conference’s South East Division and 2.5 games back from a playoff spot behind the Detroit Pistons currently sitting in 8th. They’ve won 6 of their last 8 including 3 of those on the road but are playing against a monster that wants to make history tonight.

Fantasy Basketball Preview

Philadelphia 76ers vs Golden State Warriors

Steve Kerr’s record breaking Golden State Warriors will try to push their undefeated home record and march towards victory # 73 when hosting Sunday night, The Philadelphia 76ers in Oakland at the Oracle Arena. Fantasy Basketball preview

The Golden State Warriors come into this game where there’s clearly a mismatch, and that’s the least to say. What’s ironic is that even though they’re facing the worst team in the league, they had quite a tough time beating them the last 2 games. This will be the 4th time they meet this season and 2nd time in Oakland. The first game of the year in Oakland saw typical Golden State dominance where they put up 126 pts against 86 from the 76ers. The Warriors are ranked 1st in scoring and the Sixers are ranked 30th. The Warriors are now an 8-2 stretch away from getting the best team in NBA history distinction and this game is statistically in the books where we may see Steve Kerr resting some of his starters in the 4th.

The Sixers are now on an 8 game losing streak but have been playing much better throughout the past games than during the year. The last 2 defeats were heartbreaking as they lost by a combined four points to the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets. On top of that, both losses were on the road and what’s discouraging is that they have only 3 road wins all season. This season is clearly a nightmare scenario and when they have games like this one, with an hungry for winning Golden State team that has less losses that they have wins, it will be tough for them to even stay in the contest.

Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the visiting Golden State Warriors, just fresh out of their worst performance of the season in San Antonio as they’ll try to avoid their first losing streak of the season at the Target Center. Fantasy Basketball NBA

Despite having only won 3 out of their last 10 games and occupying the last place in the West’s Northwest division, the Timberwolves have shown signs of resurgence lately during hard-fought games like their latest defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets, 116-111 or last week against the Suns 107-104.

Their rising stars, Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine are all progressing extremely well. Towns, on his way to the Rookie of the Year award, had a standout double-double performance against Houston with 32 pts, 11 boards, 2 steals, an assist and a block. Wiggins contributed with 21 pts, 5 assists, 2 boards and 3 steals while LaVine added 15 pts, 3 assists, 2 boards, 4 steals and a block. They will need a display like the one 10 days ago when they brought their maximum energy and potential, upsetting the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma 99-96.

The reigning NBA champs Golden State Warriors are coming fresh off their worst offensive performance of the season in the forgettable 87-79 loss to the San Antonio Spurs Saturday. They really endured their most difficult night of the season, breaking a 7 game winning streak and 7th loss on the road of the year. Klay Thompson’s 15 pts, 5 boards, assist, block and steal helped pace the Warriors. It was Stephen Curry’s shutdown that really didn’t help. San Antonio’s defense limited him to only 14 pts, 6 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals and at his lowest field-goal and 3-point percentage. Draymond Green nearly had his typical triple double performance with 11 pts, 9 boards, 8 assists and a block.

This time it will be different story since the Spurs own the best defense in the league meanwhile the Timberwolves own one of the worst. After this game, the Warriors will host their next 4 games in Oakland, where they remain undefeated this season.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors

NBA Fantasy Basketball preview

The many record breaking Golden State Warriors will be hosting their Western rivals, the Portland Trail Blazers at the Oracle Arena hoping to avenge their embarrassing loss the last time they played. Fanpicks has your NBA Fantasy Basketball preview of this Western Conference matchup.

NBA Fantasy Basketball

Golden State comes into to this game having dropped only 1 out of their last 10 games. The level of their ball game is spectacular to watch as well as their depth. Ironically, their only recent loss was in Los Angeles against the second worst team in the league.

Their ball movement is a prime example why they’re averaging nearly 30 assists per game, on path for another NBA record. Their loss to the Blazers however was one they will not forget as Damian Lillard put on a show in Portland and blew them out. With some difficulty, they broke the NBA record for home games winning streak and will try to push their own record to 47 games. With Iguodala back in the lineup, the Warriors will be coming out firing tonight and are far favorites in this contest as they’ve won the previous 4 meetings before the February blowout in Portland.
Portland will be hoping for another stellar performance from their star Damian Lillard who scored a career high, 52 pts helping the Blazers best Golden State by an unthinkable 32 pts. The Blazers can still be considered one of the hottest teams in the NBA, having the second best record since January 10th in the league. The only team with a better winning percentage since the start of the year is none other than Golden State.

The Blazers’ offence is extremely threatening beyond the arc, just like the NBA champions. Lillard is ranked 3rd in the league in 3 pt shooting behind Stephen Curry and his teammate Klay Thompson. C.J. McCollum has been shooting over 50 % beyond the arc for the past 11 games. The Blazers’ hot streak somewhat slowed down recently as they’ve lost 3 of their last 4 games unfortunately but are still having a firm hold of their playoff berth . Lillard as only won once out of 5 tries when visiting the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors (32-2) will take on the Los Angeles Lakers (8-27) at the Staples Center on Tuesday evening. Dominate your competitions with our free to use RotoPicker tool, create the winning fantasy NBA contest lineups for Fanpicks.com

Fantasy Basketball The Warriors are still winning games at will, but aren’t playing as dominantly as they once were. They have now had four-straight close games, despite losing just one of them. In that stretch the defense has been terrible, as they have allowed an average of nearly 110 points per game in that span. Steph Curry has been in and out of the lineup, but he was able to start in the last game in a win over the Charlotte Hornets. This looks like a good game for them to get back to their blowout form that they had prior to this “slide”, as they should have no problem dropping 120-plus against this porous defense.

The Lakers are arguably one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they come into this game on a three-game winning streak. That’s a borderline miracle for this club and all good things must come to an end. This has all the workings of a huge blowout, as they host the best offense in the NBA. The one silver lining is that this 26th ranked defense has given up only 80 points per game over their last two games and they’ll need to show up like that again here. The Lakers offense ranks 28th as well and it would be hard to imagine them staying in this game unless they exceed their 97-point per game average. The Warriors come into this game as a projected 15-point favorite, which is one of the largest spreads for a road team all season.

Hornets versus Warriors

The Charlotte Hornets (17-16) will have the unfortunate task of playing the Golden State Warriors (31-2) at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA on Monday. We urge you to grab a free trial of the winning projections with our RotoPicker tool, that populates the winning fantasy NBA contest lineups into Fanpicks.com

Fantasy BasketballThe Charlotte Hornets need a nice victory after losing six of their last eight games. The Charlotte Hornets are averaging 101.8 points on 43.4 percent shooting and allowing 100.1 points on 43.9 percent shooting. Kemba Walker is averaging 19.2 points and five assists while Jeremy Lin is averaging 11.9 points and 3.2 assists. Jeremy Lamb is grabbing 4.4 rebounds and Marvin Williams is dishing 1.3 assists. The Charlotte Hornets are shooting 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 78.1 percent from the free throw line. The Hornets are allowing 34.9 percent shooting from deep and are forcing 13.6 turnovers per game. The Charlotte Hornets have lost four straight road games. Nicolas Batum and Spencer Hawes are questionable.

The Golden State Warriors look to keep rolling on their insane 31-2 record. The Golden State Warriors are averaging 114 points on 48.4 percent shooting and allowing 102.2 points on 42.8 percent shooting. Klay Thompson is averaging 20.1 points and 3.7 rebounds while Draymond Green is averaging 15.1 points and 7.4 assists. Andre Iguodala is dishing 3.6 assists and Andrew Bogut is grabbing 7.2 rebounds. The Golden State Warriors are shooting 42.1 percent from beyond the arc and 74.5 percent from the free throw line. The Warriors are allowing 31.8 percent shooting from deep and are forcing 14.6 turnovers per game. The Golden State Warriors haven’t lost a regular season home game since January 27th. Festus Ezeli, Harrison Barnes and Stephen Curry are questionable.

The Hornets are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Southeast and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference. The over is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings.
