Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks

As the NBA regular season winds to a close daily fantasy players everywhere are scrambling to top-off their accounts, so once again we’re here to bring you our Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks.

There were many game-time decisions to be weary of, so the majority of lineups should be coming in at the last minute today as it often the case on Sunday’s. Especially at this time of year.

Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks

Sasha Vujacic has averaged 28.3 fantasy points over his last 3 games. Whether or not he can keep up his stellar play is unknown, but he is by definition a great value pick at just $4000.

Elfrid Payton: 23.9 is the lowest number of fantasy points the Magic PG has put up over his past 9 games. He’s not a scoring beast, but he does usually produce double-digit assist numbers. He is $6000, but could easily produce like a $7k man.

Jusuf Nurkic got the start at power forward for the Nuggets the last time out, but is still listed as a center on most platforms. $4700 is a nice price for someone averaging 27.74 fantasy-points-per-game in his last 7 games played.

Jabari Parker has been fantastic for the Bucks down the stretch, averaging 30 fantasy-points-per-game during their most recent 10 game span. At $6500 he’s still a good value pick, not to mention that the 76ers aren’t exactly what you call a shutdown defense either.

DFS Basketball Picks

  • My roster ($100 leftover)

Kyle Lowry is just a bulldog. The Raptors star posted a triple-double against the Knicks and has no reason not to rip the T-Wolves.

Patty Mills at $4200 is a good value. He usually comes through in the clutch and is a dependable lower priced option.

The man, the legend himself Vince Carter is in the starting lineup of a fantasy team for the first time in forever…and at $3500 you can’t go wrong. Just for the entertainment value you win!

The 21-year-old Chicago Bull Bobby Portis is consistently capable of 20 FPPG, so at $4500 you gotta take the Power Forward.

Marvin Williams should feast on Kevin Love’s lack of defensive prowess tonight. I’m looking for double-digit rebounds from the PF.

There are a few intriguing options at Center tonight including the likes of Andre Drummond and DeMarcus Cousins, but at $7200 K-A Towns is too big of a discount to pass up.

Another player at the position that ended up making the squad is Nikola Jokic. With 29 and 34 fantasy points back-to-back, the Utility slot was a prime opportunity for me to play the big Serb.

Tobias Harris rounds out the roster with 42.5 FP ovr his last 2 games combined. The Small Forward should get the start again versus the 6ers.

Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Picks

In today’s edition of our daily fantasy basketball value picks we assemble a team of not-so big name players, but ones we hope can step in and get the job done.

  • The Roster

At Gaurd, Mudiay, Oladipo and Beverley make up the three spots, while lone superstar James Harden holds down one Utility hole.

Up front we have Orlando’s Evan Fournier, the younger is capable of putting up solid performances based on his rebound totals. Harkless has been hot and should be one of the higher owned percentages of the night, while Trevor Booker rounds out the trio.

Nikola Jokic is coming off big performances, and the difference between his cap hit and everyone else around him is huge. He can definitely be an X-factor in daily fantasy basketball leagues tonight.

Again, this isn’t necessarily a lineup but just a list daily fantasy value picks for each slot!

Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks

Once again we would like to stress this isn’t necessarily our suggested daily fantasy basketball optimal lineup, but value players to target to help make your team successful! In order to win your daily fantasy basketball contest you need to maximize your spending and get the right formula for victory, where as these players are selected with individual value in mind (as you can see I always have money left over). Let’s take a look at my strategy today.

  • My roster

Chris Paul is my only major star. He will have to give it everything he has if the Clippers have any hope of beating Steph Curry and the mighty Warriors.

Teague and Carter-Williams provide good value at their price tags compared to most of the board. They average anywhere from 25 to 30 FPPG, a good 5 points more than their peers.

Goran Dragic and Luol Deng could put up big numbers again with all the injuries the Heat are dealing with at the moment. With Wade out specifically, the guard position has many minutes to fill and Deng flashed a version of his younger self last game giving hope for a repeat performance.

Antetokounmpo is the highest priced player remaining on my roster. The big-man has been putting up star-level fantasy stats lately and tonight should be no different. I’m expecting 30 fantasy points out of him.

Gerald Green will also benefit from the additional minutes he will receive tonight (Bosh – Out), while Jabari Parker has heated up as is a very good value.

Center Marreese Speights doesn’t play much, but he is very effective. He can get you 15 points and a few other category fillers if you’re really in a pinch for a low-cost player.

Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks

With the NBA trade deadline passing, and the schedule coming back from hiatus, FanPicks.com presents to you our first edition of daily fantasy basketball picks. You can try this roster, or just take some value pick targets out of this, it’s up to you!

  • My roster

I went with the most successful basketball technique known to date…a “big three”. Derrick Rose, Chris Paul and Lebron James will lead this lineup into battle tonight.

“Bron-Bron” vs “D. Rose” is always a delight, and tonight will be no different. With so much time off, these big guns are well rested and ready to put on a show.

I expect Doug McDermott to be a major beneficiary of Rose’s play, same can be said for Bobby Portis except he creates many of his own chances as well.

Lebron will have a monster game, but it’s Tristan Thompson on the inside that I’m banking on. If the versatile big-man can keep pace with his teammates (James and Irving – who is on fire) that slot in your lineup will get a major boost in value.

Wesley Johnson, Danny Green and Patty Mills will be running the court when the Spurs taken on the Clippers in a late night showdown. Green and Mills will need a big game to counter CP3, Johnson and co. if they want to defeat a Clippers team they’ve had trouble with over the past year.
