Raptors vs Celtics

Knicks vs Nets
The New York Knicks hope to have star forward Kristaps Porzingis back in the lineup. Porzingis (illness) was a late scratch prior to Tuesday’s 117-101 loss at Washington, joining guard Derrick Rose (ankle) among the sidelined New York starters.
Hawks vs Heat
The Atlanta Hawks caught a break in the schedule with a much-needed two days off after batting to a 142-139 victory over the New York Knicks in four overtimes on Sunday. The Miami Heat are the hottest team in the Eastern Conference having won their last eight games.
Pelicans vs Pistons
The Detroit Pistons are struggling to put together a 48-minute effort at both ends of the court. They have dropped three games in a row, including a 113-109 setback at Boston on Monday in which they allowed Isaiah Thomas to score 24 points in the fourth quarter.
76ers vs Mavericks
It no longer matters if star rookie Joel Embiid is in the lineup, the Philadelphia 76ers believe they can win no matter who is on the court. Embiid is dealing with a left knee contusion and is not expected to join the 76ers on their two-game road trip this week, which begins against the Dallas Mavericks.
Grizzlies vs Nuggets
Mike Conley is fresh off the highest-scoring game of his career and the point guard looks to post another stellar outing. He poured in a career-best 38 points as Memphis improved to 2-1 on its six-game road trip with a 115-96 rout of the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Bucks vs Jazz
The Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz will both be trying to emerge out of their respective slumps when they meet in Salt Lake City. Clippers vs Suns
The Carmelo Anthony trade rumors keep lurking around the Los Angeles Clippers and their recent swoon isn’t going to do anything to halt the speculation. The Clippers dropped four of their last five games. The latest loss was an embarrassing 144-98 beat down at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.
Bulls vs Thunder
The Chicago Bulls have experienced plenty of tension over the past few weeks and now will spend tons of time with one another on the road. Hornets vs Warriors
The Golden State Warriors hope to see All-Star point guard Stephen Curry back on the court versus the Charlotte Hornets. Curry is recovering from a bout with the stomach flu that caused him to miss Sunday’s game against Portland and he is listed as questionable to play against the Hornets.

Nets vs Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to slump and dropped six of their last eight games. Cleveland lost its last three games and the latest setback was a dreadful 116-112 home overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
Magic vs Celtics
The Boston Celtics avoided a four-game losing streak with one of their biggest wins of the season and will play nine of their next 12 games against teams that entered Thursday with a losing record. They snapped their three-game slide with a 120-109 home win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
Bucks vs Raptors
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ meltdown over the last two weeks seemed like the perfect opportunity for the Toronto Raptors to jump up and claim the top spot into the Eastern Conference, but instead they’ve gone into a funk as well. The Raptors will try to snap a season-long five-game slide against Milwaukee Bucks.
Hornets vs Knicks
The New York Knicks are apparently intent on getting star forward Carmelo Anthony out of town, though he seems to be the least of their problems at the moment. They’ve won 4 of their last 18 games.
Heat vs Bulls
Dwyane Wade’s old team is visiting just as his new team seems to be coming apart.
Spurs vs Pelicans
The San Antonio Spurs hope to have star small forward Kawhi Leonard back Friday night. Leonard missed the past two games with a left hand injury after a tremendous roll in which he scored 30 or more points in six consecutive contests.
Wizards vs Hawks
The Washington Wizards are quietly making a steady climb up the standings in the Eastern Conference and are winners of nine of their last 11 games.
Rockets vs 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers are expecting star center Joel Embiid(knee) to return to the lineup. The center missed three games in a row but the surging 76ers are proving they can survive without his emerging talents, knocking off the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks in a back-to-back earlier this week.
Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers
Memphis center Marc Gasol is on a tear and he aims to top 20 points for the sixth consecutive game. He established career bests of 42 points and five 3-pointers in Wednesday’s 101-99 over the Toronto Raptors.
Wednesday Fantasy Basketball
FanPicks.com has an NBA rundown to get you ready for live fantasy basketball contests.
Kings vs Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers are mired in a funk and LeBron James is getting mighty antsy about it. Cleveland dropped five of its last seven games, including Monday’s 124-122 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Rockets vs Celtics
The Rockets have been exchanging wins and losses for the past seven games (3-4) and five of the results have been decided by at least 13 points.
Heat vs Nets
The Miami Heat picked up a signature win and found a third star to compliment Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside in a 105-102 triumph over the NBA-best Golden State Warriors on Monday. The Heat will try to push their season-best winning streak to five straight against the Brooklyn Nets.
Hawks vs Bulls
The Atlanta Hawks steamrolled over the Chicago Bulls for three quarters on Friday. They are now set to meet for a third time this season. Chicago’s reserves played a dominating fourth quarter to significantly close the gap as Atlanta claimed a 102-93 decision.
76ers vs Bucks
The Philadelphia 76ers continue to make stunning strides and look to lasso their 10th victory in 13 contests versus the Milwaukee Bucks. The 76ers will be without star center Joel Embiid (knee) for the second straight night, but his absence didn’t prevent the club from posting a 121-110 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
Raptors vs Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have had plenty of time to stew over their most lopsided home loss of the season. Legs should be fresh for their matchup with the Toronto Raptors. The Canadian team is coming off a 108-106 home loss to San Antonio on Tuesday and have lost three straight on the second half of back-to-backs.
Thunder vs Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans managed to earn a win without All-Star forward Anthony Davis on Monday but would prefer to have their best player available on Wednesday. Davis would serve as the last line of defense against Russell Westbrook’s drives to the basket.
Warriors vs Hornets
The Golden State Warriors haven’t dropped back-to-back regular-season games since April 2015 and will put that streak on the line against the Charlotte Hornets. The Warriors had their latest winning streak end at seven straight in a 105-102 setback at Miami on Monday.
Knicks vs Mavericks
The New York Knicks finally managed to pull out a close game on Monday, though it probably never should have gotten tight at the end in the first place. The Knicks will try to build a lead and maintain it throughout the fourth quarter this time versus the Dallas Mavericks.
Lakers vs Trail Blazers
The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off the worst loss in franchise history. They were routed 122-73 by the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, and the 49-point margin of defeat marked their second 40-point loss during a stretch in which they have suffered six defeats in the last seven games.

Trail Blazers vs 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers are surging up the standings and continue to redefine the organization’s expectations for this season and the near future. The 76ers will try to match their longest winning streak of the season at three in a row and pick up their eighth victory in 10 games against the struggling Portland Trail Blazers.
Raptors vs Hornets
The Toronto Raptors scored at least 114 points in six consecutive games before running into the upstart Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday and failing to reach 90. The Raptors will try to find their offensive spark and earn a fifth win in six games in Charlotte.
Bucks vs Magic
The Orlando Magic did not fare well on their just-completed six-game road trip, going 1-5 while allowing an average of 113.7 points, and hope a return home can swing the momentum. The Bucks dropped three straight to fall below .500.
Kings vs Grizzlies
The Sacramento Kings are scuffling after a 1-6 homestand and the finale was the worst of the bunch as the team blew a 22-point lead and lost small forward Rudy Gay for the rest of the season. Gay tore his left Achilles’ tendon on a drive toward the basket during Wednesday’s 106-100 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Nets vs Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans’ current six-game homestand is about to get much more difficult. The Pelicans hope to breeze past the Brooklyn Nets before the degree of difficulty increases dramatically.
Warriors vs Rockets
The Golden State Warriors had no trouble turning away a pair of playoff contenders in their last two games and are winners of five straight after sweeping a four-game homestand. The Warriors will try to keep that momentum going and avenge one of their few losses when they open a road-heavy portion of the schedule with a visit to the Houston Rockets.
Bulls vs Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks have experienced a lot of recent success against the visiting Chicago Bulls and look to post their sixth consecutive win in the series. The Hawks have been a hot squad but were derailed badly on Wednesday, when they suffered a 118-95 road loss against the Detroit Pistons.
Jazz vs Mavericks
The Utah Jazz are playing solid basketball as they shoot for their fifth consecutive victory versus the Dallas Mavericks. Utah is averaging 107.5 points during its winning streak, which began with an impressive triumph over Cleveland and includes a 33-point thrashing of Detroit.
Pacers vs Lakers
The Indiana Pacers are playing their best basketball of the season. They’ve recovered from a 22-point first-half deficit to record a 106-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday in the opener of a three-game road trip. The Lakers are sliding in the wrong direction with five consecutive losses.

Raptors vs 76ers
The Toronto Raptors may receive a challenge from a team they typically pummel. Toronto will be seeking its 15th consecutive win over the 76ers, but Philadelphia is showing signs of progress with six victories in its last eight games.
Grizzlies vs Wizards
The Washington Wizards are riding their home dominance up the standings in the Eastern Conference and aim for their 13th straight win in front of the home fans. The Wizards are trying to sweep a three-game homestand after beating Philadelphia and Portland by a combined 35 points.
Trail Blazers vs Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets got off to a superb start this season but a prolonged slump caused them to dip below .500. Charlotte will look to get back to the break-even mark and halt a five-game losing streak against the Trail Blazers.
Knicks vs Celtics
Isaiah Thomas looks to continue his torrid pace and the Boston Celtics will try to match their longest winning streak of the season. Thomas led the Celtics to their third straight win with another remarkable fourth-quarter burst.
Magic vs Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans did not do as well as they wanted on their five-game road trip and come home with star power forward Anthony Davis banged up. The Pelicans hope to have their star back in the lineup against the Orlando Magic.
Bucks vs Rockets
James Harden attempts to add to his triple-double count, as well as help Houston break out of a minor funk. The Rockets have dropped three of their last four games, including Tuesday’s 109-103 loss to Miami despite Harden’s 40 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Hawks vs Pistons
Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy sat through a three-hour meeting with owner Tom Gores on Saturday and came out of it with the organization on the same page from the top down, despite some disappointing results. Van Gundy will try to thank his boss for the support with a second straight win, as they host the Hawks.
Thunder vs Warriors
When the Golden State Warriors put everything together, they look positively unbeatable. The Oklahoma City Thunder already saw that type of performance once from the Warriors and will try to disrupt the rhythm with star Russell Westbrook going up against former teammate Kevin Durant.
Pacers vs Kings
The Sacramento Kings are failing to take care of business on a seven-game homestand and look to end it with a victory against the Indiana Pacers. The Kings are just 1-5 entering the finale of the long home set and then embark on an eight-game road trip that may decide whether or not they remain in range of a Western Conference playoff spot.
NBA DFS Basketball Rundown
Hornets vs 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers passed their win total from last season when they came from behind in the fourth quarter to down the New York Knicks on Wednesday to clinch their 11th victory, and they are ready to take bigger steps forward. The 76ers will try to earn their first three-game winning streak of the season when they host the Charlotte Hornets for the first NBA DFS basketball matchup of the day.
Nets vs Raptors
DeMar DeRozan is on a roll and looks to score at least 36 points for the fourth consecutive game when the Toronto Raptors host the Brooklyn Nets. DeRozan poured in a season-best 41 points in Tuesday’s victory over Boston and is averaging 37.7 and nine rebounds over his last three contests.
Heat vs Bucks
Two teams trending in opposite directions will square off when the Miami Heat visit the Milwaukee Bucks. Only the Brooklyn Nets are keeping the Heat off the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings while an exciting young Bucks team is pushing for a top-eight spot in the conference and is coming off an impressive win.
Grizzlies vs Rockets
Only fatigue seems to slow James Harden and the Houston Rockets, who had a nine-game winning streak come to an end on the second night of a back-to-back at Minnesota on Wednesday. The Rockets will get a day off to get their legs back under them before returning home to host the Memphis Grizzlies.
Thunder vs Timberwolves
Russell Westbrook gets tired of discussing triple-doubles but there is no mistaking that the feat typically is a prime factor in an Oklahoma City victory. Westbrook takes aim at his 19th triple-double of the season and the Thunder’s fourth straight victory when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Celtics vs Hawks
The hot-and-cold Atlanta Hawks are soaring yet again, bringing a seven-game winning streak into their home contest against the Boston Celtics. A 117-97 victory Tuesday at Brooklyn surpassed an earlier six-game win streak for longest of the season for a Hawks team that is 12-6 since a seven-game slide.
Magic vs Trail Blazers
Large improvements on the defensive end are getting the Portland Trail Blazers headed back in the right direction, and a big win on Wednesday could be a stepping stone going forward. The Trail Blazers will try to keep up the intensity on the defensive end and earn a third straight win when they host the Orlando Magic.
Cavaliers vs Kings
Speculation is heating up that the Sacramento Kings and star center DeMarcus Cousins are close to agreement on a mammoth contract extension through the 2022-23 season. But the more immediate business for Sacramento is notching a breakthrough victory when the powerful Cleveland Cavaliers invade town.
Pistons vs Jazz
The Utah Jazz are fresh off a mammoth victory that signals their rising status in the Western Conference and look to follow up the win when they host the Detroit Pistons. Utah outplayed and outworked the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers while recording a 100-92 victory Tuesday and can move to a season-best nine games over .500 with a win over Detroit.
