Fantasy Football NFL Draft

With the upcoming NFL Draft, it’s this time of the year where we take a look at the needs for every team this off-season to improve in the next few year. FanPick will be providing a special mock draft contest on April 28th 2016.  Let’s take a look at what requirements need to be addressed for the AFC East division teams in the fantasy football NFL Draft.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills were having issues with their offense this time last year. The upgraded offense is now the best part of the the team, while  their powerful defense took a dive this past season. Ooooh things have changed in Buffalo! Coach Rex Ryan needs to fix his defensive squad front seven. With Mario Williams gone, a defensive end is not a bad option. The Bills were also unable to re-sign Nigel Bradham. Is spot as linebacker will need to be fixed during the draft as well.

Top 2 round picks: 19th and 49th selections.

Miami Dolphins

Miami as a clear idea of his needs for the draft. First, they have to replace the hole left by running back Lamar Miller during the off-season. They also have two openings at corneback, one as a starter and the other one to play nickel. Another option would be at the guard position, but it should fall behind the previous two positions.

Top 2 round picks: 13th and 42nd selections.

New England Patriots

The Patriots have a short-term answer at the running back spot, which mean a young talent to refresh it is not out of the question. Coach Bill Belichick can never have enough cornerbacks on his squad. With 2014 first-round pick Dominique Easley released, a penetrating 3-technique could help on the inside of the defensive line. New England will unfortunately forfeit his first-round pick due to the deflate-gate debacle.

Top 2 round picks: 60th and 61st selections.

New York Jets

The Jets are likely to draft at least two starters for next year. An edge rusher who can develop into an every-down, 3-4 outside linebacker would be a possibility. The right side of the O-Line would need help as well, with right tackle Breno Giacomini and right guard Brian Winter not doing the job. They could also pursue a quarterback, especially if Ryan Fitzpatrick stay unsigned until then.

Top 2 round picks: 20th and 51st selections.

Fantasy Basketball Courtside Watch

There is a three NBA Playoffs Game 2 set for the evening. The Hornets are in Miami, the Cavs host the Pistons and the TrailBlazers  hope to win in L.A. against the Clippers. All home team have taken Game 1 of the series. It will be the last chance for those visiting clubs to take over the series lead at home for Game 3. So expect a lot of pressure from the underdogs tonight. We’ve listed the top 20 fantasy points producers from their previous game in FanPicks Fantasy Basketball Courtside Watch.Fantasy Basketball

Cleveland’s big three got things done in the first game versus Detroit. Kyrie Irving was the biggest draw with a total of 36.5 fantasy points. LeBron James and Kevin Love came a close second and third with 36 and 35 fantasy points of their own. No other Cavs players were that significant in Game 1, leaving to wonder that they must just be relying on those three to provide the score day in and day out. There’s is no doubt that LeBron is the main man of the bunch, and could enjoy some huge fantasy production for at-least the first two rounds of playoffs. Love, for his part, should be providing regular rebounding defense in the double-digits. This leaves Irving with doubts on if his production level will stay in par with his teammates. He collected 31 points in the game, which contributed for most of his fantasy points production. The point guard came second in Cleveland’s scoring, behind poster boy LeBron James. So it would be doubtful that Irving could score more than King James on the regular, leaving him on the outside looking in. Other top 20 options at the guard position would be L.A.’s Chris Paul, Portland’s, Damon Lillard and Miami’s Dwayne Wade. Charlotte’s Nicolas Batum led the charge against the Heat, he should be a sleeper to provide the points again today.

Which player is going to stand out in tonights fantasy basketball matchups? Can Chris Paul top the list once again? Fantasy Baseball Scouting Report

All 30 MLB teams will be in action for a second straight. You know what that means! The big fantasy score is in your grasp.  Better pick early, as there is three games scheduled early. Among them is a matchup between the Angels and White Sox. Chicago sends ace Chris Sale to the mound, while L.A. counter with Garrett Richards. Sale could be the first pitcher this season to reach win number four. Later in the evening, Detroit battle the World Series Champ Royals in their hometown. Jordan Zimmerman will have the start for the Tigers, and will attempt to keep his shutout streak going. The righty has yet to allow a run in his 13 innings of play this season.  He will face off against  Ian Kennedy, who also is having an solid start this fantasy baseball season. Things will come to a clash later tonight when D-Backs Zack Greinke and Giants Madison Bumgarner will throw down in what looks like a continued  rivalry from Greinke’s days as a Los Angeles Dodger. Here is the top 20 players Fantasy Baseball Scouting Report.

Fantasy baseball Upon the pitching matchup programed today, there is one in particular that looks like a potential mismatch. Cleveland’s Danny Salazar has been rock solid giving up a single run and striking out 16 in his two starts. He’s matched up versus Mariners young-blooded pitcher Taijuan Walker, who has been pretty decent as of now. It will be interesting to see if  Salazar can hold Seattle’s big bat at bay, despite the fact that the Emerald City team scored 77% of their runs on the road, which they will be at Wednesday. That’s triple more of what they made at home, in which they rank last in the league. On the batting front,  Bryce Harper has not missed a beat since his MVP season, last year. He knocked one out of the park on Tuesday to bring his total to 7 since opening day. His hot streak his not something to not take lightly.
