NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball – Utah Jazz vs Los Angeles Lakers
Dominate your competition with our NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball, create the winning lineup at Fanpicks.com. The Utah Jazz (40-41) take on the host Los Angeles Lakers (16-65) at Staples Center.
Utah comes into this game tied for the eight-seed in the western conference, but their faith will be out of their hands. The Houston Rockets are holding the eight-spot as well, but have the crucial tiebreaker over the Jazz. The Jazz have actually lost three of their past four headed into this game and that’s not the type of thing you can do in the midst of a playoff hunt. The offense has really hurt this club, as they rank 28th in both scoring and assists per contests.
Although the Lakers are having one of their worst seasons in franchise history, this trivial game will be one of the most important ones in years for Los Angeles fans. This is the last game of Kobe Bryant’s career and the energy in the Staples Center should be out of control. That alone should make this a exceptional game, as the Lakers will have plenty of motivation in what would normally be a throw-in-the-towel match-up.
With that in mind, the Jazz should still be a sizable favorite, as their post-season lives are on the line and the Lakers are still leaving empty-handed after this.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball News – Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors
Dominate your competition with our NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball News, create the winning lineup at Fanpicks.com. The Memphis Grizzlies (42-39) travel to Oakland and will attempt to spoil the Golden State Warriors (72-9) shot at history.
It’s tough not to admire the tenacity of this Memphis team, but they simply don’t have the skills they need to win games right now. With Mike Conley, Mario Chalmers and Marc Gasol out of the lineup, the offense is naturally too inefficient to overcome. It’s all so clear by their recent results as well, with the Grizzlies losing nine of their last 10 contests. Not to mention, they could end up all the way to seven in the western conference if they lose this game, which draws a scary confrontation. This team has been a nice story so far this season, but the playoffs could be an unpleasant end to the year, especially of the fact they will either take on the likes of San Antonio or Oklahoma City.
All the talk in this match-up is about the Warriors pursuit of greatness, as a victory here will give them the best record in NBA history. It’s definitely been an amazing run, as they haven’t lost back-to-back games all season long. The only concern is what this drive will do to them in the playoffs, as all of their competitors have been able to rest many of their main starters, with those of the Warriors playing every game until the end. All-and-all, this is easily the best squad in the NBA and it shouldn’t hamper them much. The Warriors are a projected 18-point favorite in what is one of the most important regular season meeting in recent memory.

Pitcher : Stephen Strasburg (STL)
Due to a postponement and resting days, Stephen Strasburg has not pitched since defeating the Braves in his season debut on April 6 in Atlanta. The 27-year-old held Atlanta to one run on six hits in a 3-1 win, improving to 7-7 in 20 career starts versus the Braves in his career. Strasburg has been outstanding at Nationals Park since making his major-league debut back in 2010, posting a 27-17 record in 70 home starts with a 2.65 ERA and a 6.46 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
Update: Strasburg has been scratched from his start Wednesday due to illness.
Catcher : Trevor Brown (SF)
Trevor Brown has hit three home runs in eight at-bats this season, in replacement of the injured Buster Posey. He did not get a single one of them in 39 at-bats during his first campaign in the majors, last year.
First Baseman : Anthony Rizzo (CHC)
The Cubs first-baseman, Anthony Rizzo, is 5-for-15 with two dingers versus today’s opposing pitcher, Alfredo Simon.
Second Baseman : Ian Kinsler (DET)
The Tigers second-baseman, Ian Kinsler, has collected four multi-hit contests in six games this year.
Third Baseman : Josh Donaldson (TOR)
The 2015 Baseball’s MVP, Josh Donaldson, has hit safely in all eight games this season. Need I say more!
Shortstop : Aledmys Diaz (STL)
St. Louis rookie shortstop, Aledmys Diaz, gathered three hits on Monday and is batting .533 this year.
Outfielders : Odubel Herrera (PHI), Jacoby Ellsbury (NYY) and Mark Trumbo (BAL)
Philadelphia outfielder, Odubel Herrera, recorded an RBI triple Tuesday to stretch out his hitting streak to five games.
Yankees leadoff hitter, Jacoby Ellsbury, has collected a hit in every one of his past five-game and also drove in the go-ahead run in the series opener.
Mark Trumbo is currently on a tear. He has four hits, two homers, five RBIs and four runs scored in the initial two games of the current series.
