Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night Football Real Money Fantasy Picks 11-8-2015
It will be a battle in the NFC East division as the Dallas Cowboys will be home facing the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night football. DFS League GMs cane tune to NBC TV at 8:30PM Eastern Time on November 8th to track the results of their NFL fantasy roster picks.
This is the second of two meetings between these clubs this year. They went head to head on September 20th with Dallas posting the 20-10 road victory behind a strong defensive performance. The Eagles were held scoreless for three quarters and couldn’t get into the end zone until a Sam Bradford six yard pass to Jordan Matthews with 1 ½ minutes left in the game. It was an embarrassing performance offensively and one tough to stomach for Eagles head coach Chip Kelly as his team was held to seven rushing yards and 219 yards passing in the loss. This was the game that saw Tony Romo break his collar bone and he hasn’t returned to the lineup since.
Philadelphia has a mark of 3-4 on the season and is tied with first place New York Giants in the loss column as the team sits at 4-4. The Eagles will be rested coming off a bye week after a 27-16 road defeat at Carolina that broke a two game win streak. While the defense has shown improvement from last year the offensive has gone backwards. Once a high scoring team the Eagles has only scored greater than 27 points once in their seven games and that came to one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL in the New Orleans Saints. Philadelphia is only scoring 22.9 points per game and that is 17th in the league.
The Cowboys have had a hard time replacing Tony Romo at quarterback. They are 0-5 without Romo as Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel have not got the job done. The Greg Hardy controversy doesn’t appear to have an impact on the team on the field. That should not be factored into anything on the field from this game as cold as it may sound it’s a reality when trying to look for fantasy points. The Cowboys have seen their offense go in reverse the past five games without Romo as they sit 29th and fourth worst in the league in scoring as they put up 19 points per game. The team hosted Seattle last week and were beaten 13-12 as Dallas could only produce 220 yards of offense for the entire game.
Philadelphia Eagles QB:
Sam Bradford in his first year with the Eagles is completing 62% of his passes for 1766 yards with nine touchdowns and ten picks. In the loss at Carolina, Bradford passed for 205 yards with no touchdowns and a pick. In his past two games Sam Bradford has one touchdown and four interceptions. He has had a multi interception game in four of the seven Eagle games this year.
Philadelphia Eagles RB:
Acquired from San Diego in the offseason the running back leads the team with 342 yards rushing on 56 carries for 6.1 yards per attempt. He has three rushing touchdowns and has caught 12 balls out of the backfield for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Philadelphia Eagles WR:
The second year wide out for the Eagles has caught 39 passes for 398 yards and only one touchdown. His 10.2 yards per catch average is almost three yards fewer than last year.
Dallas Cowboys QB:
The veteran signal caller began the season with the Buffalo Bills. He was relegated to the third string as he couldn’t beat out E.J. Manuel on the club. So Dallas picks him up after the injury to Romo. With Weeden ineffective Cassel has started the past two games. He completed 57.7% of his throws for 324 yards with a touchdown and three picks. He threw three picks in his debut with the team two weeks ago at the New York Giants. Last week he completed just 52% of his throws against Seattle for 97 yards.
Dallas Cowboys RB:
McFadden leads the Cowboys with 86 carries for 345 yards with two touchdowns. He is averaging 4 yards a carry.
Dallas Cowboys WR:
Williams has shown some flash catching 20 balls for 313 yards with two touchdowns. The wide out is averaging 15.7 yards per reception.
