NFL Fantasy Football Draft News 10-31-2015
New York Giants versus New Orleans Saints NFL Real Money League Fantasy Preview 11-1-2015
The New Orleans Saints return home to their dome to meet the New York Giants from week eight action on Sunday afternoon. NFL pro football fantasy draft GM’s can tune to FOX on November 1st at 1PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their one day DFS rosters.
It has been two years since the Giants played the Saints and when they did in 2012 New York put up 52 points on the New Orleans defense in their victory.
The Giants are over .500 as they enter play at 4-3. After a 0-2 start the team has won four of their past five games. They hosted the Dallas Cowboys last week and came away with the 27-20 victory. The Cowboys were utilizing their third starting quarterback of the season in journeyman Matt Cassel and were without their top target in the passing game the past few seasons in Dez Bryant. Still the Cowboys were able to tie the score at 20-20 midway through the fourth quarter. Then the Giants made a huge play on special teams as Dwayne Harris ran back a 100 yard kickoff return for the game winning touchdown. There are concerns about the Giants defense as the Cowboys rolled up 233 yards on the ground and ran for over 5 yards a carry. What bailed out the Giants were the three interceptions by Matt Cassel and the +4 turnover margin in the win.
The New Orleans Saints looked like a hopeless 0-3 team after a week three road defeat at Carolina. They then proceeded to win three of their past four games to move to 3-4 on the year and still in the running for a wild card spot. They traveled to Indianapolis last week and came away with a surprising 27-21 road victory. They did it with a fast start as they had built a 20-0 halftime lead to 27-0 five minutes into the third period. Then the Saints defense gave up two big passing plays to T.Y. Hilton and the margin was only 13 points heading into the fourth quarter. After a late Colts touchdown the Saints recovered an onside kick to help preserve the victory. New Orleans has struggled on defense for the season as they are 30th in the league in yards allowed by giving up 404 yards per game.
New York Giants QB:
The Giants veteran quarterback is completing 65% of his throws for 1776 yards with 11 touchdowns and 4 picks. At Dallas last week he hit 13 of 24 passes for 170 yards.
New York Giants RB:
The run game has not been working for the team this year. Jennings had his worst game of 2015 last week with five carries for 19 yards. His carries continue to come down due to his lack of production.
New York Giants WR:
Odell Beckham Jr.
The second year wide out leads the club with 42 catches for 524 yards with four touchdowns. Over the past two games Beckham Jr. had 11 combined catches for 96 yards and a touchdown.
