Seattle Seahawks versus Dallas Cowboys NFL Fantasy Preview 11-1-2015

The Dallas Cowboys will look to break a four game losing streak as they will host the Seattle Seahawks. NFL fantasy football draft GM’s can tune to FOX on Sunday November 1st at 4:25PM Eastern Time to track the results of their roster picks.

Last year the Dallas Cowboys had one of the more surprising results of the 2014 season when they traveled to the Pacific Northwest and defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-23. The Cowboys produced 401 yards on the Seahawks defense and had success running the football with 162 rushing yards. The 2015 Cowboys are a much different team with their top three playmakers on offense out for this game. Tony Romo is injured and won’t play. DeMarco Murray is now a running back for the Eagles. Wide out Dez Bryant tries to get healthy from a broken foot and will likely miss the game on Sunday. The Cowboys have moved to Matt Cassel under center and last week in his first game with Dallas it was the Giants posting a 27-20 victory. The Cowboys tied the game in the fourth quarter at 20-20 but lost the game on special teams by allowing a 100 yard kickoff return for touchdown. Dallas with Romo out has moved down to 21st in the league passing offense and is 27th in the NFL in scoring offense as they produce 20.2 points per game.

The Seattle Seahawks are 3-4 on the year. Three of their losses came on the road at the Rams, Packers and Bengals. They broke their three game road losing streak last week in a 20-3 victory at San Francisco. In that win the Seahawks defense was dominant as they gave up 142 yards to the 49ers offense and recorded six quarterback sacks. Seattle has had issues with their secondary as there has been broken coverage that resulted in easy touchdowns to opponents. Despite the issues the Seahawks still has put up good numbers defensively as they rank third in total defense by allowing 294 yards per game.

Seattle Seahawks QB:

Russell Wilson

The veteran quarterback is completing 69% of his throws this year for 1668 yards with eight touchdowns and five picks. In their win at San Francisco last week Wilson had 235 passing yards as he hit on 18 of 24 passes with a touchdown and two picks.

Seattle Seahawks RB:

Marshawn Lynch

Lynch has 304 yards running on 82 carries with two touchdowns. He is rushing for just 3.7 yards a carry this year and is nursing a hamstring problem but is expected to play on Sunday. He had 122 rushing yards and a touchdown in the win at San Francisco

Thomas Rawls

The rookie out of Central Michigan leads Seattle with 65 rushes for 366 yards with a touchdown. He is running for 5.6 yards per carry on the campaign. Rawls is listed as questionable with a calf injury.

Seattle Seahawks WR:

Jermaine Kearse

Kearse leads the Seahawks wide outs with 21 catches for 338 yards with a touchdown. He had three catches last week against the 49ers for 64 yards. The Seahawks fourth year wide receiver is averaging a career high 16.1 yards per catch on the year.

Dallas Cowboys QB:

Matt Cassel

The Cowboys look to Cassel after backup Brandon Weeden was ineffective. Cassel completed 63% of his throws last week at the Giants for 227 yards with a touchdown and three picks.

Dallas Cowboys RB:

Darren McFadden

McFadden has been promoted to starter. He had 29 carries last week for 152 yards and a touchdown. During his career McFadden has shown signs of greatness but mediocrity was shown just as much.

Dallas Cowboys WR:

Terrance Williams

In the wide receiver position its Williams leading the unit with 18 catches for 293 yards and two touchdowns. He caught four balls last week at the Giants for 70 yards.
