Miami Dolphins versus Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Fantasy Football Preview
The Jacksonville Jaguars will welcome into town the Miami Dolphins for NFL action Sunday. NFL fantasy GM’s can tune to CBS on September 20th at 4PM Eastern Time to track the results of their rosters.
Miami opened up the season by traveling to the Washington Redskins and came away with the 17-10 road victory. The Dolphins had to rally from a 10-0 early deficit for the win. A Jarvis Landry 69 yard punt return with ten minutes remaining proved to be the game winner. That meant the Miami offense generated just 10 points.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 and were defeated at home by the score of 20-9. The Jaguars offense scoring came from a field goal and touchdown with botched extra point. Jacksonville went scoreless in the second half.
Miami Dolphins QB:
In Week 1 the signal caller hit on 22 of 34 throws for 226 yards with a touchdown. He was sacked three times.
Miami Dolphins RB:
The 1000 yard rusher from a year ago had 53 rushing yards against the Redskins. He ran for 4.1 yards a carry.
Miami Dolphins TE:
The Dolphins tight end had some big plays in the passing game last week. He caught four balls for 73 yards with three first down gains and two catches of 20 or more yards.
Miami Dolphins WR:
In addition to his punt return for touchdown the receiver caught eight balls for 53 yards with one catch for 20 yards and three first down gains.
Jacksonville Jaguars QB:
The struggling second year player went 22 for 40 last week for 183 yards with a touchdown and two picks. Bortles threw a pick six last week. He was sacked five times.
Jacksonville Jaguars RB:
T. J. Yeldon
The running back had 12 carries for 51 yards and three first down gains. His longest run from scrimmage was 14 yards.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR:
Hurns led the Jaguars with five catches for 60 yards with four first down gains. He had a lost fumble in the game.
Dallas Cowboys versus Philadelphia Eagles Quick Fantasy Tips
The injury news for Bryant is worse than expected. The Cowboys to receiver is now expected to miss 10-12 weeks.
Dallas Cowboys QB:
The Cowboys don’t have much help in the running game. The offense once again rests on the shoulders of Tony Romo who will be without his leading receiver. Pass on Romo here.
Philadelphia Eagles QB:
The Eagles are home and not in a road dome situation in Week 2. Expect Sam Bradford to have a big game on Sunday. He threw the ball for 336 yards last week and completed 69% of his throws with a touchdown pass. That came after a poor showing in the first half. We saw much improvement from Philadelphia in the second half and expect it to continue.
Baltimore Ravens versus Oakland Raiders NFL Fantasy Tip
The Oakland Raiders defense was crushed for 269 yards passing against Cincinnati last week. The game was over after three quarters as the Bengals were up 33-0 at the time.
Baltimore Ravens RB:
Justin Forsett will find space to run on the Raiders on Sunday. The Raiders offense will struggle here allowing Baltimore to dominate time of possession numbers. The Ravens will be run heavy to work clock since they should control this game.
Seattle Seahawks versus Green Bay Packers NFL Fantasy One Day Draft Tips
Seattle Seahawks TE:
Green Bay had trouble stopping the run against the Bears last week. Marshawn Lynch will get his opportunities. But we see greater potential for big plays off play action in the passing game to Jimmy Graham on Sunday night.
NFL Fantasy Football Tips:
QB: Sam Bradford (Eagles)
RB: Justin Forsett (Ravens)
TE: Jimmy Graham (Seahawks)
WR: Jarvis Landry (Dolphins)
