Stanford Cardinal vs. USC Trojans College Football Fantasy Preview 12-5-2015

 

The PAC 12 Championship Game from college football on Saturday will feature the Stanford Cardinal against the USC Trojans. DFS draft managers can tune to ESPN TV on December 5th at 7:45PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their fantasy football roster picks.

 

These two teams met earlier in the season back on September 19th with the Cardinal posting the 41-31 victory on the road. The Stanford Cardinal moved the ball very effectively in that victory with a balanced 474 offensive yards with 195 rushing and 279 through the air. Running back Christian McCaffery ran for 113 yards on 26 carries. Remound Wright had three one yard touchdown runs as he finished with 115 yards on 26 carries. Quarterback Kevin Hogan threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns. On the USC side they got a very good performance from quarterback Cody Kessler who passed for 272 yards with three touchdowns. His main target in the passing game in Juju Smith caught eight passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.

Juju Smith

Trojans sophomore wide receiver Juju Smith leads the team with 74 catches for 1302 yards with ten touchdowns. He caught six balls for 85 yards in the teams win against the Bruins last week. Smith is averaging a very good 17.6 yards per catch on the season.

 

Stanford Cardinal QB:

 

Kevin Hogan

Kevin Hogan has put up some good numbers in his senior campaign. He is coming off a four touchdown performance last week in their win against Notre Dame where he threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns. USC ranks 106th in the nation in pass defense so look for the Cardinals to try and exploit this weakness.

 

Clemson Tigers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels College Football Real Money Fantasy Preview 12-5-2015

 

The ACC Championship game features the undefeated Clemson Tigers facing the North Carolina Tar Heels. College football one day league draft managers can tune to ABC TV at 8PM Eastern Time to track the results of their fantasy college football picks.

 

North Carolina has an eleven game winning streak since their week one loss at South Carolina. They put up 45 points last week in a win by 11 points over NC State on the road. They are a very good offensive team as they put up 41.2 points per game. The Tar Heels are 18th best from college football in rushing offense running for 230 yards per game. Their one weakness this year has been in defending the run by allowing 208 yards per game ranking 107th in the nation.

 

Clemson is 12-0 and despite a sloppy performance last week they got past the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road by the score of 37-32. The Tigers are strong on both sides of the ball. They are 14th from college football in total offense and seventh best in the nation in total defense by allowing 289 yards per game. They score nearly 38 a game and allow 19 points per game. The Tigers leading running back Wayne Gallman has to share carries with several backs including quarterback Deshaun Watson who has run 139 times this season.

Deon Cain

Freshman wide receiver Deon Cain has been a big play performer for the Tigers. He has 32 catches for 570 yards with five touchdowns. Last week at South Carolina Cain caught five passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Against a very good defensive team in Boston College he had two receptions for 97 yards.
