NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase at Chicago Fantasy Preview September 20th 2015
The NASCAR Chase for the Cup will head into Chicagoland Speedway in Chicago Illinois on Sunday. NASCAR draft GM’s can tune to NBC Sports Network on September 20th at 3PM Eastern Time to track the results of their fantasy one day league picks.
In 26 starts in the 2015 season Johnson has accumulated four wins with eleven top five finishes. He has hit a drought with his last win coming back in May at Dover. He has one top five result in his past nine races. Last week at Richmond it was a ninth place finish for Johnson.
Bush was on fire for the month of July with three wins. He has four wins to date and he comes off a second place finish at Richmond last week. The native of Las Vegas Nevada has three straight top ten finishes.
Four wins in 2015 in his 26 starts Matt Kenseth is tied Bush and Johnson for most wins on tour. Kenseth has three wins in his past six races. Last week Kenseth took the checkered flag at Richmond.
Logano is fourth on tour with three wins in his 26 starts on the year. He has an impressive 16 top five placements. Joey Logano finished third last week at Richmond which was his sixth top five finishes in his past nine races. The 25 year old had a great month of August with wins at Bristol and Watkins Glen.
Harvick had entered Richmond on a good run. He had four straight top five finishes with second places at Michigan and Bristol. Last week at Richmond it was a 14th place finish after starting in sixth place.
Dale Earnhardt Jr:
The veteran driver has picked up two wins on the year with 12 top five finishes. Earnhardt Jr. was fifth last week at Richmond as he has put together a string of four consecutive finishes in the top ten. He last won back on July 5th at Daytona.
The veteran has a couple of wins with five top five finishes in 2015. Representing Team Stewart-Haas Racing Busch was 16th at Richmond as he has three finishes out of the top ten in his past four races.
Edwards has found the winners circle twice in his 26 starts this year. It has been a disappointing three top five placements on tour in 2015 for the veteran driver. At Richmond last week Edwards was 11th as he came off a win at the previous week at Darlington.
Keselowski has a single win on tour in his 26 starts with six top five finishes. Two weeks back he had the pole at Darlington and finished second. Last week it was his tenth straight finish in the top ten with an eighth place finish last week at Richmond
Martin Truex Jr:
The 35 year old racing for Furniture Row has a win and seven top five finishes in 2015. He has had some struggles finishing 19th or worse in four of six races. Last week it was a 32nd place finish at Richmond.
Hamlin has a single win on tour with nine finishes in the top five. He has finished in sixth place or better in four straight races. After back to back third place finishes at Bristol and Darlington it was a sixth place finish last week at Richmond.
