Texas Rangers versus Toronto Blue Jays Game 1 ALDS MLB Playoffs Fantasy Preview 10-8-2015

The Toronto Blue Jays will meet the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of their ALDS best of five series from the Major League Baseball playoffs. MLB draft GM’s cane tune to FOX Sports 1 at 3:30PM Eastern Time on Thursday October 8th to follow the results of their roster picks.

The Texas Rangers won the AL West division by defeating the LA Angels in Game 162 of the season by the score of 9-2. They went 5-5 down the stretch as they finished two games ahead of the Houston Astros to win the division and it came down to the final game. Toronto made all the right moves at the All Star Break as they powered past the New York Yankees to win the AL East division by six games. Left hander David Price was a big acquisition for the team to help push them to the top. Toronto has hit well ranking first in runs scored per game (5.50), second best in MLB in team batting (.269) and are tops in home runs (232). The Blue Jays lost the home field advantage to Kansas City in the AL playoffs by losing four of their past five games.
