Kyrie Irving Trade Rumors
LeBron James wants to silence the rumors
LeBron James briefly emerged from his silence on social network Tuesday to ensure he was not behind the rumors of a forthcoming Kyrie Irving departure.
“No info, people! Booo, find another source, I take advantage of the summer, do the same, “he tweeted in reference to two articles.
In the first article, Slam magazine ensures that “King James” wants the Cleveland Cavaliers to meet Irving’s request to be exchanged.
The second cites information from the ESPN television channel that the triple champion of the NBA would like to “correct” Irving if the two players meet face-to-face in the same room.
Irving, the Cavaliers’ star-studded playmaker, created a huge surprise by asking to be traded to another team where he would have more responsibilities because he does not want to play with James, who is ubiquitous on the field and outside.
The information, revealed last week by ESPN, has not been confirmed by the Cavaliers or Irving, but since then, other newspapers and media have revealed that Irving had made this request soon after the end of the season.
The Cavaliers prepared for the eventuality of Irving’s departure by recruiting for a season and a $2.1 million contract Derrick Rose, the former Chicago star, whose career is disrupted by repeated injuries since receiving the NBA Best Player Trophy (MVP) in 2011.
Irving, 25, has played the last three NBA finals with Cleveland against Golden State and won the NBA title in 2016. He spent his entire career in Cleveland, which had him sign a five-year contract guaranteeing him $94 million dollars in 2014 before announcing a few days later the return of “King James”.
