LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies- 4/11/15 NBA Fantasy Sports, Basketball Picks, Odds & Predictions
The NBA regular season will near its completion and there are still a number of games that are important for playoff entry and vital seed position. One of those games will be played on Saturday April 11th as the LA Clippers are at home to the Memphis Grizzlies on NBA TV at 10PM Eastern Time.
The Memphis Grizzlies head into Staples Center with a record of 54-25. The Clippers are 53-26. Each team has just three games left on their regular season. A check of the Western conference playoff seeds and we find the Memphis Grizzlies holding a slim one game lead over the fifth seeded LA Clippers. The Grizzlies are a ½ game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs. The two seed is huge in the Western conference as it will give the team home court advantage in the first two rounds of the playoffs.
The Memphis Grizzlies will be on a back to back after a hard fought one point road win at Utah on Saturday. After a three game losing streak at end of March the Grizzlies have now won four of their past five games. They have been hit with impact injuries to their rotation as starting guard Tony Allen is out for a week with a hamstring injury. Mike Conley has a sprained foot and did not play at Utah on Saturday. Conley is listed as questionable. Should Conley play expect the Clippers to play fast as they are rested to test his sprained foot.
The LA Clippers have had an easy schedule playing bottom feeders from the Western and Eastern conference. As a result the team has won four straight and nine of ten games. The team has been scoring points as they have put up 105 or greater points in ten straight games. They are a relatively healthy team and will play with three days of rest after beating the Lakers on Tuesday night.
Memphis Grizzlies Point Guard: With Mike Conley banged up it will mean more minutes for backup point guard Beno Udrih. But with a player that has seen limited minutes you have to wonder about Udrih’s production on a back to back spot here.
