Green Bay Packers versus Denver Broncos

Sunday Night Football Fantasy Cash League Picks 11-1-2015

It will be a matchup between undefeated teams on Sunday Night Football as the Denver Broncos are hosting the Green Bay Packers. DFS draft GMs can tune to NBC TV on November 1st at 8:30PM Eastern Time to track the results of their one day league rosters.

Both teams are 6-0 on the year. Green Bay enters play after a bye week. They hung on two weeks ago in a 27-20 home victory to San Diego Chargers. The Packers defense came through with a huge stop late in the fourth quarter with San Diego inside the five yard line of Green Bay. The Packers successfully defended four downs in a goal to goal situation to receive the ball over on downs and preserved the victory. Even though the Packers allowed 548 yards to San Diego they were able to limit the Chargers to just 2 of 6 inside the red zone. On offense Green Bay was able to successfully move the football on the ground for 133 yards on 17 carries. The Packers have been carried on the right arm of Aaron Rodgers for several years. In 2015 the Packers are a more complete team. They are eighth in the NFL in rushing yardage at 127 yards per game. On defense Green Bay is number one in scoring defense by allowing just 16.8 points per game.

Denver also enters play after a bye week. They traveled to Cleveland two weeks ago and came away with a 26-23 victory on the road in overtime. It was another outstanding defensive performance for Denver as they held Cleveland to just 297 yards of offense. It was a sloppy game on both ends as each team had three turnovers. The much maligned Broncos offense was 0 for 3 inside the red zone. Denver has had issues offensively as the club is 29th and fourth last in the NFL in total offense as they produce 325 yards per game. This is a team that thrives on the defensive end of the field. The team is best in the league in total and passing defense. They rank fourth against the run and second in scoring defense. The Broncos are surrendering just 17 points a game.
