Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

June 27th 2016

Another MLB weekend in the books. New matchups are set for Monday with ten games in primetime contests. Chicago Cubs Jake Arrieta and New York Mets Noah Syndergaard lead the class of today’s starters. With the daily expense of those two going up to $9,000, I’d look for the fantasy baseball sleepers to grab the spotlight at FanPicks (Click to play). Here is the list of Monday’s fantasy baseball top picks.

Trevor Bauer is 2-0 with a 1.86 ERA in five June starts. He allowed one run in a complete game during his last outing, the second CG of his career. The tribe are aiming for their 10th straight win.

Charlie Blackmon hit in all seven games last week, raking for a .424 (14-for-33) average, totaling three walks, five home runs and nine RBIs amid a white-hot stretch that included six multihit games. He received the National League’s Player of the Week honors.

Freddie Freeman went 3-for-3 with a solo homer, two runs scored, a walk and a double on Sunday against the Mets.

Mark Reynolds hit a walk-off two-run homer off Silvino Bracho, powering the Rockies past the D-backs, 9-7, on Sunday at Coors Field.

Matt Carpenter has reached base in 18 consecutive games.

Kendrys Morales went 2-for-4 with two solo homers in Sunday’s game vs. the Astros.

Jose Altuve’s fourth-inning single on Sunday pushed his streak of reaching base safely to 29 consecutive games, the longest current streak in baseball. That ties a career record for Altuve, who reached base in 29 games in a row Aug. 1-Sept. 1, 2015. Altuve has hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games in Anaheim, batting .388.

Aledmys Diaz went 3-for-5 with three doubles, an RBI, a run scored and a walk against the Mariners on Sunday.
