Fantasy Baseball Daily Top 20

May 20th 2016

There is no better time to celebrate Friday’s than to have fun and win at FanPicks (click to join). Time to set up your MLB fantasy baseball daily picks with the top 20 of the day. No early matchups, it all starts at 7:05PM ET with all 30 teams competing. Tonight’s main event will be happening in San Francisco, as the Giants aim to win their 9th straight game. But it all looks to come to an end against the Chicago Cubs, with reigning CY winner and undefeated (7-0, 1.29 ERA) Jake Arrieta taking the mound for the Cubbies. This could be the turning point in San Francisco’s season. Here is where Arrieta stands in today’s top 20 picks, and there is no surprise there!

Fantasy Baseball Daily Notables

  • Reds right fielder Jay Bruce has been one of the team’s bright spots, and the Mariners will be careful with him in the middle of the lineup. Earlier this week, Bruce became the all-time home run leader at Great American Ball Park with 128, overtaking Adam Dunn.
  • Miami Marlins infielder Martin Prado has been a nemesis for the Nationals over the years, hitting. 312 with 10 home runs and 51 RBIs.
  • Since joining the Texas Rangers in 2011, Adrian Beltre is hitting .348 with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and a .609 slugging percentage in 69 games against the Houston Astros.
  • New York Yankees lefty CC Sabathia returns from the disabled list tonight. He will make his 30th career start against the A’s in which the hurler has collected an 9-11 all-time record against Oakland with a 4.71 career ERA. The Bay Area native has struggled at the Coliseum, going 4-7 with a 5.44 ERA. With a victory though, Sabathia would become the 17th pitcher in Yankees history to reach 100 wins.
