Starting Lineup The Knicks have are on a three-game win streak, defeating two of the Eastern Conference’s best in the process. After defeating the Hawks two games in a row, the Knicks traveled to Miami on Wednesday and handed the Heat a 98-90 loss. Carmelo Anthony totaled 25 points (9-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 37 minutes. Robin Lopez contributed 19 points (9-12 FG, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two blocks, and an assist in 35 minutes. The Knicks have been averaging 105.3 points per game during their three-game win streak. They will look to tie their season-high streak of four wins in a row while also handing the Spurs their first home-loss of the season on Friday night.

The Spurs have tallied six straight with their most recent victory coming on Wednesday against the Jazz 123-98. LaMarcus Aldridge sat out of the game in order to rest, giving way for David West to pick up the start. West had 14 points (7-8 FG), 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal in 25 minutes. Tim Duncan added a season-high 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT), with eight rebounds, six assists, and a steal in 26 minutes. Tony Parker missed his second straight game due to soreness in his right hip and will likely be a game-time decision for Friday’s matchup. The Spurs won their first game against the Knicks this season way back on Nov. 2 by a score of 94-84.
