The Bucks lost big time on Monday night when they played the Spurs. Khris Middleton led the squad in scoring with 19 points, but it wasn’t enough for to beat second place team in the Western Conference. This will be their second night of a back-to-back series. The Bucks will look to bounce back from this loss, but will do so away from home, and likely without starting point guard Jerryd Bayless, who re-injured his ankle on Monday during their game. It is likely that Michael Carter-Williams would start in his place in the event that he is not able to return to action.
The Bulls are coming off of a close win against the Raptors, in which star shooting guard Jimmy Butler broke Michael Jordan’s record for most points in a half, with 40 points. He ended the game with a total of 42, and his caliber of play was much of the reason the Bulls were able to pull out the win. An MRI on starting point guard Derrick Rose’s sore knee came back clean, and he is now listed as day-to-day, while Joakim Noah is still out with a shoulder injury. If Rose doesn’t play, it’s likely that Kirk Heinrich will continue to start in his place.
