Since Detroit won Game 1 of this series the teams have traded wins. The visiting team has won four of the six games played in this series including the past three games. Looking to avoid elimination in Game 6 on the road the Tampa Bay Lightning took control early enroot to a 5-2 road win at Detroit on Monday night. The Lightning jumped out to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period before the Red Wings were able to answer with their first goal of the game. Detroit fought back within 3-2 early in the third quarter but the Lightning shut the door with two goals in the final five minutes of the game.

Detroit Red Wings Center: Pavel Datsyuk has delivered for Detroit in the playoffs with three goals and two assists as he leads his team with five points in the playoffs. Ice time has been distributed pretty equally among the Red Wing centers. In three road games in the playoffs Datsyuk had two goals and an assist.

Detroit Red Wings Left Wing: Thomas Tatar has contributed with three goals and an assist for four points in this series. Two of the goals came in the Game 6 defeat to Tampa Bay on Monday. In the three games of this series on Lightning ice Tatar has a single point coming on a goal.

Detroit Red Wings Right Wing: Luke Glendening has two goals and an assist in this series for three points. His eight penalty minutes can get hockey mock draft managers a bit nervous with their man serving time in the box. He has a goal and an assist in the three playoff games at Tampa Bay.

He has two shutouts and two bad games where he allowed four goals in each too.

Tampa Bay Lightning Center: Tyler Johnson has led Tampa Bay in these playoffs with six goals and an assist for a total of seven points. In a must win game in Game 6 at Detroit he netted two goals and has multiple point games in three of five contests.

Tampa Bay Right Wing: Nikita Kucherov has five assists in the post season. He was huge in game six assisting on three of the Tampa Bay goals.

Tampa Bay Left Wing: Ondrej Palat has a goal and two assists for three points in this series. After being shutout in the first three games of these playoffs Palat responded with a goal and assist in Game four and dished out an assist in Game six.

Tampa Bay Lighting Defensemen: Nikita Nesterov has a goal and two assists for a total of three points. He is last on the Tampa Bay roster of defensemen with only 14 minutes of ice time per game. He has been scoreless in his past three games. He was a healthy scratch in Game 5 on Saturday. Victor Hedman has three assists in the playoffs. More impressive is his plus minus of +5 in this series.

Tampa Bay Lightning Goalie: Ben Bishop has been the man in net for the Lightning in this series. He has a 3-3 record in the playoffs with a goal against average of 2.18 but a poor save percentage of 90.4%. He has allowed two goals or fewer in four of his past five games.
