Detroit Lions versus Seattle Seahawks Monday Night Football Real Money Fantasy Picks 10-5-2015
The Monday Night Football game will feature the Seattle Seahawks at home facing the Detroit Lions. Fantasy football draft GM’s can tune to ESPN TV at 8:30PM Eastern Time on October 4th to follow the results of their roster picks.
The Detroit Lions are a desperate 0-3 team as they travel to Seattle. They have road losses at San Diego and Minnesota and last week they dropped a 24-12 home decision to the Denver Broncos. The Lions are having a difficult time running the football as the club rushes for just 45 yards a game ranking 32nd and last in the NFL. There are some major issues to the Lions defense as they are giving up nearly 29 points a game ranking 28th in the NFL. Detroit has problems defending the pass as they sit 27th in the league by allowing 284 yards per game.
The Seattle Seahawks are home for second straight week and enter Monday Night Football at 1-2. Behind a good second half effort the team shut out the Chicago Bears 26-0. But the Bears were using a backup quarterback in Jimmy Clausen who passed for just 63 yards. Seattle will be without running back Marshawn Lynch who has been listed as out with a hamstring problem. Seattle is fourth best in the league in rushing as they team runs for 134 yards per game. The Seahawks defense holds their opponents to just 286 yards per game which is 3rd best in the league. Seattle is very good defending the pass and throwing the football is strength for Detroit. The Seahawks are fourth in the NFL in limiting opponents to 186 yards passing per game.

The rookie running back has rushed 21 times for 82 yards with a touchdown for 3.9 yards per carry. Some of Abdullah’s strengths in his college career at Nebraska were his play in the passing game. He has seven catches out of the backfield for 72 yards with a touchdown.
The fifth year running back has been listed as out for Monday’s game with an ankle injury. He had been a major disappointment for the Lions by gaining just 22 yards on 20 carries.
