Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles vs. Washington Huskies College Football Fantasy Preview 12-26-2015

The Heart of Dallas Bowl will pit the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles and Washington Huskies competing Dallas Texas. Daily fantasy football draft managers can tune to ESPN TV on Saturday December 26th at 2:20PM Eastern Time to follow the scoring results of their DFS roster picks.

The Washington Huskies have built a very good defensive team under Chris Peterson in his second year with the program. Peterson received a two year contract extension so he will be focused to have his defense ready here. They are the 12th rated scoring defense from college football limiting teams to just 17.8 points per game. That is a very good feat considering the Huskies compete in the PAC 12 conference with several high octane offenses.

The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles were a good story as they become bowl eligible at 9-4 after several down seasons. They faced a very weak schedule but when they faced good defensive teams they scored 16 points against Mississippi St and just 10 points at Marshall.

College Football Daily Fantasy League Pick

The Las Vegas odds have the Washington Huskies favored by -8 ½ points. They feel that Washington behind their strong defense and strength in their front seven will be able to contain this Southern Miss offense. That is a very high line for a 6-6 team facing a 9-4 one. It represents how much respect many professional have for this Huskies defense despite being very limited on the offensive side of the football. In their past two games the Huskies allowed just 7 points at Oregon and 10 points at home in the Apple Cup against Washington St.

UCLA Bruins vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers Real Money College Football Fantasy Preview 12-26-2015

It’s the Foster Farms bowl with the UCLA Bruins facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers from Santa Clara California. DFS draft GM’s can tune to ESPN TV at 9:15PM Eastern Time on Saturday December 26th to follow the results of their fantasy football roster picks.

This has the potential of being a very high scoring game. Both teams has red flags on defense that raises the possibility of this game being profitable for fantasy football draft managers looking for points on offense. UCLA faced good defensive teams down the stretch that suppressed their offensive production. The Bruins have plenty of playmakers on the offensive side of the football. The team is 25th in all of college football in passing offense as they averaged 286.5 yards per game. The Bruins piled up points against the likes of Cal, Stanford, Colorado, Arizona, Virginia and Oregon St. The UCLA defense is leaky and very weak against the run so expect many possessions from both teams in this matchup.

Nebraska is 5-7 as the team had a -14 turnover margin by making many mistakes on the campaign. A glaring weakness for the Cornhuskers has been their pass defense by allowing 288 yards per game through the air which is 122nd in all of college football. The issue with this poor pass defense is the Cornhuskers faced many offensively challenged teams in the Big Ten conference west division.

College Football Daily Cash Fantasy League Pick

Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen in his first year with the program completed 59.5% of his throws for 3350 yards with 20 touchdowns and 9 picks. Nebraska doesn’t put enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks and when Rosen has time in the pocket he can be lethal throwing to his playmakers in the passing game. He had three touchdown passes on Cal, Stanford and Virginia on the year.
