The Bowling Green Falcons were champions of the MAC conference as they blew out Northern Illinois 34-14 in the championship game. The team is outstanding offensively ranking in the top five in overall, passing and scoring offense on the season. They have scored 41 or greater points in eight of their 13 games on the season. The Falcons average 43 points a game ranking fifth from college football.

Georgia Southern is 8-4 and the top rushing team from college football by running for 355 yards per game. In this day and age it is mind boggling that for a non-service school to throw for 61.8 yards per game.

Boise St Broncos vs. Northern Illinois Huskies College Football Cash League Fantasy Preview 12-23-2015

In the Poinsettia Bowl it’s the Northern Illinois Huskies meeting the Boise St Broncos. DFS college football draft GM’s can tune to ESPN TV at 4:30PM Eastern Time from San Diego to follow the scoring of their roster picks.

Boise St finished at 8-4 and played well below their standards on the year. They dropped two of their past three games with losses to New Mexico and Air Force on their home field. Their other losses came at BYU and a 52-26 road loss at Utah St. The defense has underperformed in step up games. Boise St was once a stout defensive team and with the Huskies using a freshman at quarterback it is still not advisable to use the Broncos defense in this game.

Northern Illinois was hit hard by injuries to their quarterback positon. They are forced to go with freshman quarterback Ryan Graham who hit on just 59.3% of his throws with six touchdowns and three picks. They lose their starting quarterback Drew Hare for the season with a lower body injury. The Huskies offense hasn’t look the same since losing Hare. There was a huge drop off to the freshman after Hare’s injury. From a fantasy perspective there is no recommendation for any Northern Illinois Huskies player from this game.

College Football Daily Fantasy League Pick

Boise St junior wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck leads the unit with 82 catches for 1334 yards with eight touchdowns. He is averaging 16.3 yards per reception on the season. He had a great game at home to New Mexico where he caught 20 passes for 281 yards. In the non-conference victory at Virginia Sperbeck caught five passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
