Arizona Wildcats vs. New Mexico Lobos

College Football Real Money Fantasy Preview 12-19-2015

It will be a PAC 12 versus Mountain West conference showdown when the bowl season begins as the New Mexico Lobos will meet the Arizona Wildcats. The New Mexico Bowl will be played on Saturday December 19th at 2PM Eastern Time and fantasy college football GMs can tune to ESPN TV to follow the results of their DFS roster picks.

The Arizona Wildcats are 6-6 and failed to earn a berth into the PAC 12 championship game like they did in 2014. The issue with the Wildcats has been with the defense. In their past five road games the Wildcats have given up no fewer than 31 points. This game will be played on New Mexico’s home field and the Wildcats have allowed 40 points per game in their road games. The strength of the Wildcats has been their offense. The team is 15th in the nation in total offense by gaining 494 yards per game. Arizona is balanced in the run and pass. A big hit for the Wildcats is their leading running back Nick Wilson will be out.

New Mexico should be motivated in this spot as the team is 7-5 and playing in a bowl game for the first time in a long time The Lobos picked up wins on the road to Boise St and has a home victory to Air Force 47-35 in the final regular season game.

In the New Orleans Bowl it will be the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs to battle the Arkansas St Red Wolves. Fantasy college football draft managers can tune to ESPN TV at 9PM Eastern Time on Saturday December 19th to track the results of their DFS roster picks.

The Red Wolves were champions of the Sun Belt conference at 8-0 in conference and 9-3 overall. They were a very high scoring team by averaging 41 points per game. They are a well balanced offensive team and are led by an experienced quarterback. But they are a bit leaky on the defensive end by giving up nearly 29 points per game. They have trouble stopping the pass by allowing 252 yards through the air.

Louisiana Tech finished off the regular season with a record of 8-4. They finished 6-2 in the Conference USA West division behind first place Southern Mississippi. They had a shot to make the Conference USA title game but dropped a 58-24 home decision to Southern Miss. They are the 15th ranked passing team from college football.
