The Sun Belt conference will be featured from college football action for Tuesday October 20th as the Arkansas St Red Wolves is home to the UL Lafayette Rajin Cajuns. College football draft GM’s can tune to ESPN2 at 8PM Eastern Time to follow the results of their roster picks.
The UL Lafayette Rajun Cajins have been no stranger to minor bowl appearances the past few seasons and that’s a pretty good achievement when you are a Sun Belt team. They need to gather up a lot more wins if they are going bowling in 2015 as the team is 2-3 on the season. Their first four games were non-conference tilts which they went 1-3. They opened up play in the Sun Belt in week five and beat Texas St 49-27. The Rajin Cajuns are a solid running team as the club generates 231 yards on the ground which is 16th rated in the country. In their opener they put up 33 points on the road to Kentucky in defeat.
The Arkansas St Red Wolves enters play at 3-3 on the year. They too went 1-3 in the non-conference and are 2-0 against Sun Belt conference opponents with victory at home to Idaho and last Tuesday they traveled to South Alabama and won 49-31. The scored 49 points on Idaho so they have been putting up points against their two Sun Belt opponents which is something they struggled to do against their three FBS opponents. Their defensive numbers have been poor as the Red Wolves are allowing 32 points a game which is 94th in the nation.
