Penn St Nittany Lions vs. Georgia Bulldogs College Football Fantasy Preview 1-2-2016

The TaxSlayer Bowl will feature the Georgia Bulldogs facing the Penn St Nittany Lions. College football fantasy league GM’s can tune to ESPN TV on Saturday January 2nd at 12PM Eastern Time to track the results of their one day league roster picks.

Penn St finished their regular season at 7-5 on the year. They were just 1-4 away from home and average just 17 points per game in those five games. They scored just 10 points at Temple and Ohio St. Their lone high point total came against a bad Maryland team. The Nittany Lions have the 106th ranked offense from college football and are 101st in the nation in scoring. They will have issues with dealing with the speed of the faster Georgia Bulldogs team.

The Georgia Bulldogs finished with a 9-3 mark and have won four straight to close the regular season. They have limited four straight opponents to 17 points or fewer. At Georgia Tech to close out the regular season they held the Yellow Jackets to 7 points and only 13 points at Auburn on November 14th.

College Football Daily Fantasy League Pick

Georgia is the seventh best defense from college football. They limit opponents to 298 yards per game in a very good SEC conference. The Bulldogs defend the pass very well as they rank first in the nation by allowing just 146 yards through the air. Georgia is also ninth best from college football in scoring defense. The speed of the Bulldogs defenders and pass rush will give a down Penn St offense fits in this game. We saw an SEC school in Alabama defend Michigan St very well in the Cotton Bowl. Tennessee allowed just six points through three quarters to Tennessee.

Oregon Ducks vs. TCU Horned Frogs College Football Cash League Fantasy Preview 1-2-2016

The Alamo Bowl figures to be a good matchup as the TCU Horned Frogs will face the Oregon Ducks. DFS draft managers can tune to ESPN at 6:45PM Eastern Time on Saturday January 2nd to follow the results of their fantasy college football daily picks.

The TCU Horned Frogs enters the Alamo Bowl without their starting quarterback Trevone Boykin who was arrested earlier in the week by striking a police officer. He has been suspended for the game. TCU was a rebuilding defense that struggled in many games this season. Once a top ten defense for several years in many categories from college football the team has dropped to 62nd in the nation by allowing 396 yards per game. In Big 12 games this year the Horned Frogs surrendered 49 at Oklahoma St, 45 at Kansas St and 52 at Texas Tech. TCU will not be in their home stadium as this game is played on a neutral field in San Antonio.

Oregon closed out the regular season winning their final six games and could very well be the best team in the PAC 12 conference. They key to the turnaround came when their quarterback Vernon Adams got healthy again as he was bothered by a broken finger earlier in the year.

College Football Daily Cash Fantasy League Pick

The Oregon Ducks are the fourth rated offense from college football as they put up 548 yards per game. They score 43 points per game which is fifth best in the nation. Vernon Adams has thrown for three touchdowns or greater in four of his past five games. He threw for six touchdowns on November 21st against USC. The Ducks offense has been playing at an extremely high level as the season has worn on.
