The Chicago Blackhawks holds a 2-0 series lead as they took the first two games of this series on home ice. In each game the Blackhawks were able to push across four goals all on even strength. After a shaky start to the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs goaltender Corey Crawford has solidified the starting position and has won both games.

In the opening round of the playoffs the Blackhawks were taken to six games by the Nashville Predators. Two of their four wins in that series came in overtime. The Blackhawks are 5-0 at home in the playoffs and 1-2 on the road in the post season. The Chicago defense has been lax on the road as the club has given up 14 goals in the three games. Minnesota was tied at 2-2 after the first four games with the St Louis Blues in the opening round. The Wild rallied with wins in Game 5 and 6 to advance into the second round. On home ice in the postseason Minnesota is 2-1. The two wins the Wild allowed a total of one goal. Game 4 got away from Minnesota as they allowed six goals at home to St Louis.

Chicago Blackhawks Center: Jonathan Toews has four goals and five assists in the playoffs. In the closeout game against Nashville on Saturday April 25th he had a goal and two assists. He had a goal in the win on Sunday.

Chicago Blackhawks Right Wing: Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks in goals score in the playoffs with five. His ten points in the post season ties Duncan Keith for the most on the team. Kane is has goals in three straight and had two goals scored in the 4-1 victory on Sunday to Minnesota.

Chicago Blackhawks Goalie: Corey Crawford has won his starting job back after a shaky start to the playoffs. He is 3-1 in the post season with a high goal against average of 3.14 with a poor save percentage of 89%. Crawford has allowed four goals total over his past three games.

Minnesota Wild Center: Mikael Granlund had six points in the postseason with two goals and four assists. He has just one point in the first two games of this series with a goal in Game 1 on Friday.
